Just to be clear, you talk about ‘posts’ on the blog or ‘topics/replies’ on your bbPress that should be deleted ?
This is really a bummer for lot of my users. After hours of research into the codes, I just found the ticket, addressing why <li> breaks the site (being an invalid HTML).
Sorry for this bump(ish) post. Is there a temporary workaround or fix for this? For now, I’m planning on putting up a custom notice, advising the participants not to use </li><li> the wrong way.
Also, I’m curious how bbPress (this forum) handles this.
Edit: I think the issue is self-explanatory here.
@casiepa – The above reply with examples, I took them from the same forum. I just noticed it recently. When looking at the date of the post, it seems about the time we had migrated our Kunena forum (on Joomla) to our WordPress site using bbPress, about 6 months ago.
However, I can not verify 100% that they were working at the time after migration as nobody reported it nor did I have a real need to check it.
Although, I can edit it from the backend, so I figure it’s got to be there somewhere, just can’t get to it from the frontend.

Hi,
If it’s your own subscription, then just enter the forum and (in a normal theme/standard bbpress) you should find ‘Unsubscribe’ on top, next to the breadcrumbs.
If you are admin and you want to manage this for more users, have a look at my ‘bbP Manage Subscriptions’ plugin.

I am using a bbpress forum for users to interact with the site.
can you say how this is bbpress related?
Hi,
bbPress is already at the latest stable version (2.5.8) and works great. There are some issues with WP 4.4 (mainly for hidden/private forums) and I’m waiting for WP 4.4.1 like many others, but the issue is there, not in bbPress.
The lastest info I have is that it should be available before Mid January, but that’s just unofficial data.
If you are referring to bbPress 2.6 (nothing to see with WP issues) then I can tell you that tests are fully ongoing (well, a bit less in the last week, but everybody deserves some rest), so I do hope that shortly 2.6 will be out also. You can already test the alpha development version here.

Hello!
bbPress is installed on my site here http://sir-dom.ru/forum-syrodelov/
When I’m logged in as an admin I can to create new topics and to write in existing ones.
But when I register as new user I cant to create new topics and cant to write in existing ones.
I dont see errors. I just push “to create topic” or “to answer”, then page reloads and nothing happens.
You can see it on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOsmeNq0DXA
In first part of video I’m using forum as an usual user. At the second part – as an admin.
According with my tools all new users get the role “participiant”
I have installed plugins
GD bbPress Attachments
GD bbPress Tools
But even when I turn them off the issue is still alive.
What can be a reason???
Really thanks!
When is BBPress going to be updated for latest WP version?
Hi,
What do you mean by ‘it does not support’ ? Did you try ? What is the result ?
I saw somebody moving away from that theme in another thread on bbpress.org, so most probably there are some issues, but in most of the cases it could be solved by creating a child theme.

i’m using sparkling theme for my blog. it doesnt support bbpress. please help
my blog is http://www.wpfever.com/
Hi Sakib,
You already have WordPress I suppose, so just go to ‘Plugins’ and click ‘Add New’. Then look for bbPress and install it. It’s a plugin, so follow the normal way of installing plugins.

please help i can do it manually but it will take time to again set up the database.
please help me.
Hi,
Did you have this problem after running one of the bbPress repair tools ? I had this issue already when running e.g. “Recalculate last activity in each topic and forum” and if post IDs and post dates are not really aligned. It’s a known issue that should be fixed in the upcoming v2.6
EDIT: After the next reply, everything is then correctly refreshed.
Pascal.
Hi,
I’m using standard bbPress and I’m not aware of the checkbox you mention.
By UNsubscribing from a forum, I do not receive any emails anymore, however I still have full access, so from my side that worked.
Pascal.
Thanks Robin W
I am using Advada and bbPress 2.5.8-5815.
I have replied to a few of the comments on my website and now they show MY post as the latests so I was wondering if there was a blip

Image above explains it. I could edit or remove the separator in the core template file, but it’ll change back to default in the next bbpress update. Any help is appreciated.
ok, can you post
the bbpress.pho you are currently using
a link to your site, or more soecifically the page you want changed
what you want changed
It could be a theme or plugin issue
Plugins
Deactivate all but bbpress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.
Themes
If plugins don’t pinpoint the problem, as a test switch to a default theme such as twentytwelve, and see if this fixes.
Then come back
interesting problem
the link http://www.bruuuce.com/members/si/ resolves to http://www.bruuuce.com/theboard/topic/si-on-sabbatical/
so the sending page – eg a forum page correctly links to where it thinks the profile is. Something in between then redirects the url to the result.
I’d suggest it is probably theme or plugin related.
As a test :
Plugins
Deactivate all but bbpress and buddypress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error. If not try bbpress on it’s own.
Themes
If plugins don’t pinpoint the problem, as a test switch to a default theme such as twentytwelve, and see if this fixes.
Then come back
