I’m using this shortcode on my site.

Is there a way to show only 5 popular threads instead of 10?
I just tried the following code with no sucess 🙁

Hey guys, i have just been handed an old website with a standalone install of 0.9 (integrated)

Have been trying to upgrade it to 1.0, prior to upgrading to 1.2 then importing to 2.6 (plugin version)

HOwever every time i run the bb-admin/upgrade.php script it spits out error’s saying that bb_meta and various other tables are missing.

I understand that the schema has changed from 0.9 to 1.0 but should the 1.0 upgrade script not handle thease changes?

or are there manual steps i need to take prior to running that script ?

any help would be greatly apreciated.

Hi there,

New to bbpress plugin and we’re busy setting it up. Upon installation we noticed that some icons are rendering in the forum which I quickly found out shouldn’t be there.

Any one that know how to remove these orange icons from the forum part?

Any help is appreciated.

When running a forum wide search, is there any way of excluding search results from private forums to which the user running the search does not have access?

I’m thinking taking advantage of bbp_after_has_search_results_parse_args filter must be the way to go but not quite sure how to approach this.

For now, on single forum page, topics are displaying order by date desc. But I want to display topic tag as main heading and then under heading, want to display related topic tags. I am able to display topic tag above title but want to group them in one section. Can anyone please help on this

I’ve got some buddypress groups on my forum, and they each have their own forums on them.

The group forums are set to appear under a group forms section in the main forum navigation page like so

However, some of the group forms are randomly appearing elsewhere, like this one that decided to camp out at the top of the page.

What’s going on! I even tried deleting some of the group forums, then recreating them. No luck. I have the rule set that all group forums go under the group forum headings, but some group forums are going rogue…

I’m currently testing bbPress (with the default plugin templates/themes) and have noticed that a number of inputs do not have labels associated with them. I run a number of sites that require we meet a standard of WCAG 2.1 AA.

Is this something that is likely to be amended in upcoming versions?

And does anyone have any advice regarding making bbPress compliant?

I created a BBpress site, but now I am being plagued by emails of forum activity.

As I am just an admin, is there a way to set BBPress to send emails of forum activities, registrations and such to another, separate email address and leave me in piece? 🙂

I’m getting incorrect “last updated” date/time stamps on my forums:

If I use the “Recalculate last activity in each topic and forum” tool, then it fixes it, but obviously I don’t want to have to do this every time – I just want it to work without running a tool. Can I run this tool as a cronjob?
