Did you have a previous version installed? if so delete all files and re-upload and it should fix it. (do a deactivate/reactivate)
I am not sure if there is any latest Arabic bbPress language packs, but a place I have often found useful as a resource for translation is – http://bbshowcase.org/forums/topic/bbpress-translation-internationalization-into-local-languages

Anyone out there who has some time this week to work on a customization for bbpress to integrate it with the look and feel of my site?
I’ve loaded bbpress and integrated the databases and cookies and all of that, so need someone who can blend the design and make sure everything up and functional.
Please contact me directly if interested and only if you have precious bbpress customization work to show.
If I am posting this request in the wrong forum, my apologies and please direct me to the correct place to seek out some help in this department as I am not familiar enough with bbpress to execute it myself.
Thanks,
Ryan

hi my firend how we can support the last version of bbpress to arabic. is there files or not converted. and if we will convert them how…
can anybody help me…
@JJJ I uploaded as a zip.
Same issue here – the whole Forum section is gone from the Admin menu.
Form offset should be fixed.
@DKB – Sounds like you’re missing a file somewhere, or your svn up didn’t finish.
already reported, and it appears to be Firefox specific.
Is the New Topic form supposed to be in the sidebar? I noticed that the reply form is fine… right underneath the current posts, as expected.
Here’s a screen capture of my test install:

Well, if phpBB has a RSS feed to allow exporting a certain user’s post you could use RSS to export everything that you did.
I am guessing the URL is – http://www.sos-audition.org/forum/ and if so, I do not recall there is even RSS feeds on phpBB 2 so sadly it seems either a copy and paste job, see if you can get the database another way (maybe pay them ?) or say farewell to that data.
Other then RSS, database or copying and pasting, I do not see a quick way to do what you are looking to do sorry.

Error:
‘Fatal error: Call to undefined function bbp_get_topic_author() in /wp-content/themes/bbp-twentyten/loop-bbp_topics.php on line 36’
You’ll also need to deactivate and reactivate the plugin, since the capabilities are added and removed on plugin activation and deactivation. Until then, you’ll have some strange issues. I’ve edited my original update to reflect this.
You’ve indentified a number of possible plugins that can help/prevent any SPAM on your forum Ramiuz. Yes I’d recommend you used Akismet because it’s designed to work on this kind of stuff, plus it’s owned by Automattic who make sure it integrates well with the likes of bbPress (and WordPress!) — If there is a problem with it, do the developers know about it?
My $0.02 anyway!

Yeah you’re best place to get support would be BuddyPress, while it’ll integrate with bbPress, I believe they do some cool stuff with code to make it possible, you’ll also get a much quicker response!

Hmmm, I’ve deleted and re-uploaded all the files, however I am now not able to create new forums or see any options for the forum. Unless this was removed and has not been implemented yet.
Originally I was able to as I could see Forusm, Topics and Replies menu. Have I missed something?
I don’t believe that is possible in bbPress without the use of a plugin, and on doing a quick search it does bring up bbPages but it is possible it’ll not work, going by a few comments anyway? — I know you said no plugins, but that’s the only way I know how to do it using latest version released!

JohnJamesJacoby: Lots of updates and rearranging today. If you’re running on an SVN check-out you’ll want to SVN up.
I’d spotted most of the changes going in, things are looking good, and my local copy works great and as expected (I’ll post a slight issue on Trac to do with the Child Theme not being in the /themes/ directory though!)
Rich Pedley: […] I appear to have lost access to the admin menu.
There is #1357 on Trac opened up a few hours ago now which would appear to report the same issue, although I’m a little puzzled, cause I don’t recall ever seeing anything other than the Forums, Topics, and Replies CPT items in the menu? — Have I missed something that needs looked into?
Is it possible to add a page to a template?
But by only modifying things in the template directory? So not creating files in bbpress root or using plugins…
After sorting out the first issue.. I appear to have lost access to the admin menu.
I’ve updated things, but it’s caused an issue.
