How to show for example only first 50 characters of the post for unregistered users? To read the whole post user has to login.

I have a question,

Please is it possible to move all post created by a particular user to another?

eg. Mr B has 20 forum post and I want to move all his 20 post to Mr C. How can I possibly do this?

Hi,

I have a problem where participants cannot edit their posts. I’ve tried changing the amount of time before allowed to edit posts but that doesn’t fix the issue.

Any ideas? I’ve looked through the forums with other people that had these issues but none of the solutions worked. The weird thing is it works on an exact sandbox of our live site with the same plugins.

shortcode to display a list of topics in my home page. That shortcode displays a list of 15 topics and I’d need to limit that number. Can I add some instruction to the shortcode or I need to modify the php function?

Trying to follow these instructions and not seeing the steps.

Getting There
1.Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard
2.Select the ‘Tools’ tab select ‘Forums’ from the navigation menu
3.Select the ‘Import Forums’ tab at the top of the screen.

I am using wordpress 4.0 and am not seeing tools tab….in the left hand colum I see forums but if I go their I can not see an import section.

It is currently nearly impossible to read with the back ground being white and no idea what the text color is….white maybe as well?

Firstly i would like to thank you for making bbPress. Its a nice handy plugin for wordpress lovers. Right now, i am trying to create a Expert Question-Answer forum using wordpress. My site has 2 types of roles. 1st is normal and 2nd is expert. Now, i need to add a functionality so that Normal users can ask their doubts in forums. But, only Experts should be able to reply to his topic or the author of the topic itself. Is this possible with bbPress? Please let me know.

I am using bbPress 2.5.4 on WordPress 4.0.

When I add a widget to a sidebar it will not save. Not any of my widgets will save since I have installed bb press. The saving ball spins and spins and spins but never saves. Once I deactivate bb press works right away…I like bb press and want to use so please help..

Anyone have a tip for Captcha-plugin. I don’t want to do any coding… so is there a Captcha-plugin that works “out of the box” with Bbpress.

after i change colours of the headers the bbpress not loading any style . the whole style sheet gone .
