I have installed bbPress and everything works fine.
Now I downloaded a custom theme – http://www.awesomestyles.com/bbpress-themes/view/businesslike
I made some changes and put it into Estonian language.
The problem now is, when I want to change the User Profile Info, then nothing happens.
When I change the theme back to Kakumei, then everything works fine.
I hope You guys can help me out, because I’ve had some trouble making it look like I want to.
Sorry for my bad English and I hope You can help me out fast. (:
Thank You!
Kris

For making bbPress (and WordPress) do what it ain’t supposed to…
please http://bbshowcase.org/forums/
As the documentation for bb press is not fully developed, I am finding people are asking some of the same questions over and over again. (need themes.. when the new bbpress plugin coming.. permalinks).
The forum for my favourite wp theme has recently done some thing pretty cool: http://forum.bytesforall.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1
They have added an FAQ section to their forum, so that these common questions are addressed quickly.
Either that or maybe make these issues sticky.
@eshipguy… Fortunately it is possible!
You can modify little bit following theme to get bbpress layout.
Demo: http://bbshowcase.org/forums/?bbtheme=WPMimic
Download: WP Mimic Download
Best of luck eshipguy..

hello,
just did the bbpress integration in my wordpress designthemedia.com
when I check http://designthemedia.com all is ok!
when I check http://designthemedia.com/forum … even the basic css of my wordpress is killed.
I copied the style.css of the bbpress theme into the root of my wordpress and I made an @import from the css of my wordpress.
any ideas for me ?
all the best,
julien
Hello, I am translating bbpress po file and when I press save in poedit I get error.
17:56:06: C:UsersZDesktopbbpen_EN.po:7: field `Project-Id-Version’ still has initial default value
17:56:06: C:UsersZDesktopbbpen_EN.po:4034: a format specification for argument 2 doesn’t exist in ‘msgstr’
17:56:06: msgfmt: found 1 fatal error
How to fix this?
This is the bbPress support forum. bbPress isn’t compatible with BuddyPress. Also bb-attachment is a bbPress plugin and not a WordPress plugin.

i’m unable to post a new topic on my forum. it just gives “this topic has been closed”.
i have integrated BBPress with WordPress and installed the platform pro theme which all looks fine and i login to wordpress and don’t have to login again when i go into the forum.
if i go back to the default theme there is no problem with posting a new topic.
this is the thread in the pagelines forum where we have been discussing this issue.

That one has already been reported in Trac.
I really like the layout on this site, but haven;t really been able to find one that looke like it.
Is the theme available for download and/or is there another theme that will give me the same look as http://bbpress.org/forums/
It’s the form under this sentence: “This form is only for plugin developers. If you’d like to see a plugin listed here, please contact that plugin’s author. “
Anyway if I remember well a couple of weeks ago someone got the the same problem. try to logout/login from within the plugin section.

@intmenz – I had the same issue and actually had the same issue and had to hot the refresh button in my browser to get it to work. For whatever reason clicking a link to the page would not work.
I tried this now
