Topic: User Role Map
I have just installed the BBpress plugin for the latest version of WordPress. I cannot see the reply or post new topic functions. I searched the docs on here and it says I need to do a ‘user role map’ but I cannot find this. I have looked through WP Settings > Forums and this is the BBpress settings but there is nothing for user role map. I cannot see where it would be else where.
Any help is great, thanks!

Topic: Allow html in posts?
I just converted from IPB to bbpress, and moved all my posts over.
Now the problem is, all posts now contains html codes, instead of showing images, making line breaks etc.
This is obviously a user permission problem, because when I post the same codes with the admin account, it shows right.
Is there any way that I can allow users unrestricted html code, just like admin has?
i want to change the URL of my forum.
instead of being mywebsite.com/forum, i’d like it to be forum.mywebsite.com.
i can’t find the URL hard coded into the database, so i’m guessing there is something in the plugin that references home_url but i am not sure where it is set.
can someone please help?
I’m trying to figure out if I have a theme problem, or if it is a problem with BBpress itself.
Running WP 3.3, BP 1.5, and BBP 2.0
I don’t have a New Topic link at the top of the forum the way the old BBpress used to have (and this forum has). It’s a usability thing to enable to user to jump down to the input box quickly.
Does BBpress have it and my theme just not displaying it, or is it not part of the functionality of BBpress plugin?
I’m translating the bbPress pot file to Danish.. it seems all the .po danish files are not up to date.
I have a problem I can’t find the following:
“EDIT | CLOSE | STICK (TO FRONT) | MERGE | TRASH | SPAM” in the pot file?!
can someone point me in the right direction.

Topic: Show logged in users
BBPress 1.0 had a “Show users who are logged in” plugin that would show all the users currently in the forum and it would also show users who are logged out but would show the order they visited.
Is there an equivalent plugin for 2.0?
Thank you!
Topic: bbpress script
Hello.
Have bbpress installed, have the forums setup.
I do not want the forums as part of the main page of the site.
I have a bbpres widget on a secondary page to login into the forum.
Heres where the problem lies.
After logging in the user is sent to the welcome or main screen.
How do I alter this setting?
Also is there a way to disable the dashboard for users other than admins?
Thanks
Paul
I will figure this out if it’s the last thing that I do.
This plugin obviously has problems and a lack of support by WordPress. It’s just an entire list of not resolved bugs that have been reported. I’m looking for alternatives.
