Jim has it. As well, the bbPress integration shouldn’t work with WPMU 2.6.5 to be honest from my understanding for the “buddypress” parts. It works for login and cookie integration, but needs SVN until release of WPMU 2.7 for the buddypress side.

In reply to: WP Integration: header integration problemI am pretty sure sambauers or mdawaffe will look at this thread at some point as they have access to the documentation

In reply to: Allow Users to Edit Posts IndefinitelyI haven’t tried “-1” as the definition, but I was thinking the same thing

In reply to: Can you delete posts from database?I don’t think a plugin to do that has been written and begging on the forums might not get it written anyways as the “space” that deleted posts take in the database is extremely low and is unlikely to ever become a problem. As well, it is not a bug, but a feature

In reply to: bbPress 0.9.0.2 released@wilcosky, this is a sticky thread, so why not just start a new topic for you problem.

In reply to: Strange Error/Crash MessageDid you figure out what the problem was? It certainly wouldn’t have been a security issue that I am aware of that is for sure.

In reply to: No SECRET_KEY in WPMUI would go back to the 0.8.3.1 release myself until Donncha releases the upgrade to WPMU. You can find the older release of bbpress at:
https://trac.bbpress.org/browser/branches/0.8
That or you have to work on the plugin to get the old md5 hashes working again. It might be easier on your users to just get the older version running again though

In reply to: No Admin notification of new userAs long as this has a checkbox to turn on and off! I don’t know if I could handle getting notified if I had 1000 registrations a day, but is nice on a site with just a few registrations! Thanks _ck_ !

In reply to: bbPress 0.9 release dateI am not sure _ck_ but Sambauers wrote the plugin to take the password hash back to the old method. I am testing it with 2.3.3 and WPMU tomorrow and will let you know if it works or not

In reply to: is it possible: avatar wordpress plugin by code?I would like to, but the plugin I am using is restricted to WPMU exclusively (not normal wordpress) and was purchased through WPMUDEV Premium services and the copyright is so that you have to pay them to use it.
If you are looking at a combination avatar plugin, have you searched google for “wordpress bbpress common avatar” or something similar? Have you checked out the plugin directory to see what is offered here for avatars up and above the “service” company avatars like gravatar?

In reply to: Private Forums ProblemI am not 100% sure I am understanding. I have that exact plugin working on my forums and I have all the forums setup as “open to all” and just one forum (the last one) setup as “registered users only”. I have the checkbox to hide the forums checked.
Logged in users can see the forum and the topics of the private forum.
Non registered and non logged in users cannot see any of the topics in that forum or the forum itself.
You are saying that these users can see the forum, but not the topics? Have you set the options at the bottom to what to show members if they enter an area that they shouldn’t be?

In reply to: Shared Users tableNot sure if anyone has done it, but maybe start by looking at the way it pulls wordpress users from another database?

In reply to: Private Forums ProblemJanEllers are you using the plugin from so10 from the plugin browser? Do you have the following checked?

I have this working fine for me. Does it work with the main theme (for testing)?

In reply to: is it possible: avatar wordpress plugin by code?It can be done as I am using a custom avatar plugin that I use with my wpmu install that pulls the avatar from the wpmu side when comparing the user id from bbPress and the wpmu user (as they are the same with integration).
In terms of normal wordpress, I am not sure if one exists. I know lots have used gravatar or mybloglog as their base avatar system (myself included) just to make integration easier

In reply to: php fail.I think the majority of this problem is that the array is returning false unless you have a plugin with an underscore. There is a TRAC ticket for this issue, but installing the following temporarily fixed things for me:

In reply to: Permalinks Problem – rewrite-rules.php does not workThat is correct. Take the output of that file and put that in your /stereopoly.de/forum/ directory. Multiviews works with most servers I have played with, but had to use the rewrite-rules.php for my latest server.

In reply to: New Pro Forums Contact FormBrad I think gave up on the project and I didn’t have a chance to at least grab the entries before it left. If I can contact him, I might start a blog with the previous entries and continue on.

I think this was intended since if the poster is not there in the database, it is automatically assigned anonymous. Best bet would be to ask S010 through is site or through the plugin browser though if no one has a definitive answer here.
