It looks like that from some of your customization you have removed some of the ‘wrapper’ bbPress classes from your templates eg. this will indeed change the layout and sidebar issues you are seeing.
There are multiple articles out their on how to do multiple WordPress installs but share the users from a single database.

Can you double check what version of bbPress you are using… V2.1.2 included a patch that specifically addressed the issue you are having with class names being case sensitive.

bbPRess will work with ‘most’ themes though it would appear that both bbPress and the ‘Origin’ theme are having conflicts with the ‘breadcrumbs’.
Can you contact the theme author to have a look at resolving the conflict with the theme for bbPress?
Have you cleared your browser cache and cookies?
It is just a CSS class for you to add any additional styling in a custom CSS

Why arnt you running the latest versions WordPress, BuddyPress and bbPress?
The behavior you are seeing is by design what the ‘bbPress Moderation’ plugin

Or did you install this plugin to try and resolve the issue but with the plugin disabled you are still seeing this behavior?
What happens when you disable all other plugins on your WordPress install?
Do you still see the same theme behavior if you switch ‘theme packages’

bbpress.org is using a customized theme of bbPress 2.1 to showcase the features available, at this time it is not available for download though.
Another user is also having problems with ‘CheerApp’ and are waiting for the developer to update the theme. You see those issues here:

I would suggest you contact the author of theme also to see when an update will be available as no doubt that would be the best route to take.
@Durelle You will need to provide much more detailed information to help you with this.
What version of phpBB are you importing from?
At what step did the conversion fail?
Did it complete and users just cannot login?
What are all the option values you used to perform the import? (ie. Did you check the ‘Convert Users’ field?)
Ass Andre stated, 2.1 does indeed support importing from vBulletin, please give it a go and let me know how it goes for you, I haven’t tried importing from vBulletin myself yet (or Invision) and I think I was going to make a note of that in the docs.
I’m not quite following you… What are you using to do this in WordPress and how do you want to do this in bbPress? Posting some links to screenshots would help a great a deal.
If you are using the latest bbPress Plugin version 2.1x, if so your members/users should see these on their profile page http://example.com/forums/users/username
I started to write some doc’s but like you got confused pretty quickly with all the different info available. Did you see the 2.1 install info here?
