(I’ve posted this previously but it got stuck in moderation, so I’m removing most of the URLs, hope that was the issue.)

I’ve been battling this bug for months now and it’s driving me up the wall.
When a forum user has more than one page of forum topics or replies, the pagination links do not generate correctly.
Take this user, for example: …com/members/adaptprep/forums/
For forum topics, the URL that is generated for the page 2 link is:
…com/members/adaptprep/page/2/
when it should be
…com/members/adaptprep/forums/topics/page/2/
For forum replies, the URL that is generated for the page 2 link is:
…com/members/adaptprep/page/2/
when it should be
…com/members/adaptprep/forums/replies/page/2/
I have seen many users with similar issues, but so far no solutions. Can anyone help?

I’m creating a new BuddyPress site that will be primarily organized around Groups. Each Group will represent a city, and each Group needs to have multiple Forums (such as for neighborhoods within the city). Two questions, please:
1) How do I create multiple Forums for Groups? When I set up a new Group, it asks if I want the Group to have a Forum. But it says nothing about having more than one Forum.
2) I’m confused about the difference between a BuddyPress user registration and a BBPress Forum user registration. Do I need both? Does the Forum registration just register them for one Forum, or for use of the whole BuddyPress site? If they register in BuddyPress, do they also need to register to take part in a Forum?
In general, I don’t understand why BuddyPress and BBPress are separate plugins. It would make a lot more sense (and be less confusing) if they were all in one plugin, wouldn’t it?
Hi Folks, I’ve used bbPress successfully before but I think I’ve done something wrong this time around.
I’ve added a menu item (for logged in users) to the forums but neither of the new forums displays.
Previously each forum would be displayed one above the other but this time just some search text.
Forums page:https://conwycameraclub.com/forums/
Sample forum when previewed from editor:
https://conwycameraclub.com/forums/forum/general-chit-chat/
or…forum/how-do-i
I’m sure I must have missed something but can’t think what. It appeared so simple last time.
Cheers, Eugene

Hi,
I wish nominate forum’s registered users as ‘Forum’s Managers’ and to set 3 Manager’s levels.
Autorization is to all the forums in the site (5 forums generated):
level 1 – autorization to edit and delete posts
level 2 – as level 1 plus autorization to access to the specific post user’s (the post creator) registered profile and edit the profile (i.e set new password when needed).
level 3 – as level 2 plus access to the registered users list and their profiles
Thank you
Hi,
I am having problems setting up the forum for my community.
I have used the short code
on the “forum” page but nothing appears on the screen, it is blank.
The subscription I take for my website is on wordpress.com and I’ve seen a few tutorials on how to setup the bbPress but had no success. It seems others on the internet have more options on wordpress than my subscription on wordpress.com, hope this helps to figure out.
I hope to get this done.
Cheers and waiting for a reply,
André Machado
Hi, I am using bbPress without necessity to create an account (people are reluctant to create one these days)… Akismet does a great job in preventing spam, but I would love to have an option to send an email notification to these users who filled their emails… Is there a way to do it? (Eg: somebody posts a question and fills his/her e-mail, I reply, the notification goes to me, but not to the user, which I want to change…)
Thanks!
Jan
Hello,
Despite my research, I can’t find how to make the text of a sub-forum appear on the forum page when it is associated with a parent.
Thanks for your help
Hello,
The website is up to date (WP 5.9 and 2.6.9 for bbpress)
I experience a randomly error on a website I manage. When you click on the answers in the backoffice you experience several times the same error, a white page with an error 500 and a fatal error :
WP_Fatal_Error_Handler->handle
WP_Fatal_Error_Handler->display_error_template
WP_Fatal_Error_Handler->display_default_error_template
wp_die
and
WP_Fatal_Error_Handler->handle()
[PHP Kernel]
WP_Fatal_Error_Handler->display_error_template(Array, WP_Error)
./wp-includes/class-wp-fatal-error-handler.php:57
WP_Fatal_Error_Handler->display_default_error_template(Array, WP_Error)
./wp-includes/class-wp-fatal-error-handler.php:152
wp_die(WP_Error, <code></code>, Array)
./wp-includes/class-wp-fatal-error-handler.php:233
Could you help please ?
Thank you.

Hello,
I am running WordPress 5.8.2 with an Eduma Child theme. I have LearnPress and bbPress (v2.6.6) installed and I have an issue with forums.
Course A is attached to Forum A and this has been working well for over a year. I recently created Course B which is a duplicate of Course A. Course B is attached to Forum A.
Users who are signed up for Course B gets the message ‘ You are not enrolled in the course’ when they try to access their forum which is Forum A.
Please can you help????
Thanks
