If you have 2.6 alpha installed and you want to use the latest dev translation, you will have to download the po file and put it locally.

I you use bbPress on WordPress (so no BuddyPress), then any WordPress plugin would do. Users are managed by WordPress.

I was hoping to see 2.6 in January, but the latest WP broke some stuff that needs in-depth checks and testing. As everybody is a volunteer working on this project, no official dates can be set.
If you translated dev (which is the 2.6 in the ‘trunk), the translation is moved to ‘stable’ whenever 2.6 is set as a ‘stable’ version. So you only need to do the work once.
I will have a check later why the new German version is not being pushed !

Did you try to talk to the theme author ? The sidebar is taking up extra space and is probably not needed. And probably the width is not set to 100%

‘Registering’ would be a WordPress issue (if you just use bbPress) or a BuddyPress issue.

If you did not rerun the script to recalculate, then for every forum where a topic arrives (or probably also a reply to a topic), the freshness should become correct.
If it disappear, and you did not rerun the repair tool, it might be another plugin or your theme that is doing things in the background.
Any possibility to remove plugins that could have an influence on bbPress and switch to a standard theme ?

There is a check every 6 hours for plugins, if they are at 100% for a locale, they should become available at that moment.
Just make sure you do not have any pending local mo/po files anymore. And that your WordPress is set to de_DE (and not to formal or e.g. Swiss).

There seems to be a known conflict because of the Calendar that loads JavaScript in a strange way.
It could work if you deactivate Timely and bbPress, then first switch on Timely, after that switch on bbPress

I had a similar issue already when running e.g. “Recalculate last activity in each topic and forum” and if post IDs and post dates are not really aligned. It’s a known issue that should be fixed in the upcoming v2.6.
After the next reply, everything should be then correctly refreshed.

As everybody is volunteer, it depends on the time that developers and testers can spend on bbPress. Only when the product is considered ready, it will be moved to stable.

All translations are now centrally managed. Danish seems to be at 92% for the stable version.
Anybody can contribute to the translation (https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/da/default/wp-plugins/bbpress)
When it reaches 100%, you can get in touch with a Global Translator Editor for the Danish locale to see how to continue.
