The Author section seems to have a width of 115px and I’d like to widen that. I’ve tried using the below code which I pulled from a the inspect bar in Chrome and pasted into my child themes styles.css but it doesn’t work.
Can anybody help?

width: 140px !important;
}

On pages where I use the bbp-single-forum shortcode I am having an issue with the ‘Create new Topic’ text box displaying.
The topic Title field displays and can be populated fine but the main content textbox appears as a slim expandable box only a few pixels high. If you expand it no text can be entered into the box.
Also on the pages where the bbp-single-forum shortcode is being used the Home and Update icons do not display correctly, instead presenting a broken image type icon. Removing the bbp-single-forum shortcode makes the admin bar icons display correctly.
An example of a page with this issue is https://www.adventureridingnz.co.nz/motorcycles/bmw/

Hi Team,
As part of the Vikinger theme, forum was an integral part for our website www.bizcompro.com. However, Forum doesn’t show on the back-end at all. Please see this image – https://prnt.sc/21u9zli
The user can see Forum at the front end but it isn’t in an editable format (user can’t post anything). Please see this image – https://prnt.sc/22buadd
We can’t upload anything on Forums at the backend or the frontend.
When we contacted the theme developers, they have directed us to get a resolution from you. Could you tell us the steps we need to take to get Forums on the back-end so that the users can post their queries and responses?
Regards,
Team BizComPro

I swear I’ve been searching this for two days. I’m sure I’ve read about this somewhere and I can’t find it now.
Question. When a user gets an email notification about a new reply there is also a link to the forum topic. If the user clicks on the link and is logged out, he first has to log in. Now the question is how to redirect him to that topic after logging in? And is is even possible in my case, because I already have a redirection (users are redirected to a specific page on my website). So which redirection would be “more important”? Would the redirection to the topic even work?
Thanks,
Chris

Hello,
we create our WordPress accounts using a mail address as the username (not the best idea but I wasn’t admin at decision moment) and it is used as user ID in WP.
When I try to add such an ID as moderator of a specific forum, the ID is changed: the “.” is replaced by a dash “-” and the “@” is simply removed.
As a result, the moderator doesn’t receive any notification.
Not sure bbPress is the problem or again due to one of our plugins.
Just let me know if that problem is known or not at bbPress…
Thanks for your support

After activating bbP Style Pack, on bbPress recent topics list:
– when user is logged in, username and avatar are fine, displayed as links and with <span></span> formatting
– when user is logged in, username and avatar are displayed as plain text and WITHOUT <span></span> formatting
Deactivating bbP Style Pack resolves issue.

Hello,
Create a new topic without assigning to a forum and you can’t find it anywhere.
Last WP in French
Last bbPress
Ekko theme
I discover that because I was willing to modify such a topic and never found it back !!!
Same if super sticky.
All Topic should have a filter “no forum” ! I am sure it’s somewhere !
