While developing a site I had then entire wordpress framework in a hidden folder (ie http://mysite.com/wp/index.php)
I have developed many site this way but never with bbPress included. Now when I changed the path of the wordpress directory and move the file the forum is a blank page.
The shortcode is still visible in the post and all permalinks are functioning the same.
Why did this happen?
WordPress Version: 3.3.1
bbPress Version: 2.0.2
All has been working well. Half way through styling the forum and suddenly when a user is not logged in the get redirected to the login page.
I have replaced the bbPress plugin files with the originals just in case I have done some thing, but still not working!
I am using the Theme My Login and Theme My Profile plugins as well but it has been working whilst using these!
Any ideas people.
Thanks
Topic: Twenty-ten child theme?
Hello!
There is a wordpress plugin I am trying to use, and it wants me to upload a file to my theme files.
If I upload the files to the BBPress theme folder, on the next update, wont it erase the file?
So, couldn’t I copy the BBPress theme folder and put it in my twenty-ten theme directory as a child theme, and wouldn’t that work? or not? Or, I I just being an idiot and forgetting something?

What is a good place to look for bbPress-themes?
The wordpress.org only lists two themes when I do a search…
I have a site which is only a forum and I am looking for a crystal clear and light-wight theme to use on it.
In the edit profile or profile section of the BBPress user. the user name is a bit redundant. What files do I need to edit to remove it after the word ‘About’ and and possibly in the edit profile link?
I provided a screen shot.
I have WordPress 3.3.1 installed with Buddypress 1.5.4 and the BBpress plugin installed as a site-wide forum. Everything works after I save the forums settings but if I navigate to any other page in the WordPress administration area all of the rewrite rules for BBpress in the wp_options table are deleted. I can get them back by saving the forum settings again. No other plugins are having their rewrite rules deleted, just the BBpress plugin. Like I said I can get the forum working as long as I don’t use the admin area after saving the forums settings but obviously this isn’t a good solution. Any ideas? Has anybody else come across this issue?
Topic: Missing a step
I’ve just set up a new wordpress site, created a network, added buddypress and bbpress.
The main site is my site. When I went in and created forums, everything worked well. However, when I add the forums to the community menu, none of the newly created forums display.
What am I missing?
