1. Plugins: Bozo users + Delete all bozos + Akismet + Skip Akismet (for admins and moderators) + Human test
2. bbPress is going to be in glotpress soon (I hope), meanwhile you can download the translation on your language made by the community
3. You can restrict access to bots with a robots.txt too
4. I recommend bbpress because is great for SEO, simple to use and friendly with your hosting needs (very light). It comes with some lacks yet (you cannot move a post from one forum to another) but it have a great future, much more when it will come as a wp plugin

And … what about to move posts between different topics or separate posts from a topic to a new created topic?. These are basic features in other forums software and there’s nothing similar in bbPress.
I think that bbPress need these type of features in order to be a serious forums software, isn’t it?

It could be that …
– The theme doesn’t have a description en the style.css file
– You have badly uploaded the theme
– The download is partially broken

I’ve made some changes to adecuate it to bbPress 1.x (core code adaptations to new functions). I’ve changed some css too, reordered the front page, added the description to the style.css and a screenshot and a lot more. When it is finished I’ll publish it.

(names aren’t exact but I think you know what plugins are)
Ipstemu, I’ve checked it in Safari too and they worked fine (in Mac, by the way)
