It’s no longer being developed, has bugs, the author has taken off and no one know where he or she is, has to be manually added to your blog, causes errors on the plugins page,….
I’m kind of torn actually but if you see the need or desire for it, I’d give you a thumbs up for the idea.

Hmm, I tried code (well teh backticks) in there when I noticed that the blockquotes didn’t work. In Netscape they looked teh same so I went back to just using the blockquote.
Moderators have backend access, right Trent? You should change that.
Isn’t teh first suggestion set in the config file or somewhere else? i think we have that one already.
Actually I can’t see them digging through the databases like that just to do a lookup for a tag.
If they would, they would had dug for all those attached to the Girly Themes thread. “Sexist” “Stupid” etc.

There seems to be a bit of difficulty with integrating wpmu with bbpress.
I disagree. You pretty much drop three lines into the config file for bbpress, use the same database and it’s set.
The two lines to share the cookies: Link
And this line to use the user table from wpmu.
define('CUSTOM_USER_TABLE', 'wp_users');
And IIRC, that’s already in the config file, just commented out.

I think sourceforge.net blocks all outbound PHP calls.
I noticed this on occasion on the wp.com forums. If the system sees a tag as something that needs to be encoded, then there’s no way it can’t ever be un-encoded. It’s a pain when trying to fix HTML over there.
*chuckle* Just noticed this myself on my own install and was wondering about it. Got hit by a spammer this morning.
My question is this though. Shouldn’t the “1” result mean the person is bozo’ed? And, since this is a shared install with a WPMu install, would changing this affect the account over there?

I run a fairly large (well for me) ad network with about 300 clients on the “they get free hosting for displaying my adverts” idea and I moved to phpAdsnew/ OpenAds a while back. It’s pretty much cross platform so i don’t worry about stuff like this.
Probably not the answer you’re looking for but something to think about since you’ll probably hit this issue again later on. Having that many clients on a free hosting in exchange for displaying my adverts program, it was pretty much the best solution, especially considering those clients are on at least 2 dozen different platforms.

Sharing the user database table as well as the cookies between the two sites. A visitor only has to create an account once to gain access to both sites.
Do a search for ‘strike’ as we discussed the method to add in extra tags a few weeks ago.

*chuckle* Wouldn’t it be moot at this step anyway? The email has already been sent. Whitelisting after the fact isn’t going to help.
better idea may be to state to check the spam folder.
