Integrating cookies between bbpress 0.9.0.4 and wp 2.7.1
Published on April 17th, 2009 byHi everyone,
I’m sorry to post this topic knowing that there are so many similar ones on this forum, but I’ve been going round in circles for days. I have the user databases integrated perfectly on my site, but I still have to log in/out completely separately. My four secret keys definitely match in both the bb-config and wp-config, and I can’t find anything else I am supposed to do.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jack
no www. = no fresh baked cookies
Published on April 17th, 2009 byhi guys, i downloaded the fresh baked cookies plugin to support integration with wordpress, however, if i access my site without the www. before it, i do not remain logged in.
is this a known issue? hopefully it’s an easy fix…
thanks!
Lost administrator upon integration with WPMU
Published on April 17th, 2009 by rhammonsHello, I’ve run into this issue twice now upon trying this. I’ve got WPMU installed on a subdomain, added the BuddyPress plugin, and that’s it. Then I go to add my BBPress as a sub-directory to said subdomain and install it just fine, using the same database – set up an administrator account, etc. I log into it, and try to do the integration to WP, add the secret code, add the cookies line to my wp-config.php, tell it to share users, etc. Once I submit that integration page I’m logged out, and I can’t log in any more with the administrator account i made for BBPress, but I can log in with my WP Admin’s account, but here’s the ringer, I no longer have any administrative privileges – so the BBPress install becomes useless. What do you think I am doing wrong, or should be doing otherwise? My goal is to simply have this forum integrated into WPMU/BuddyPress. Any pointers would be appreciated, thank you!

Importing from phpBB to bbpress
Published on April 17th, 2009 byIs there a way to import a forum that is already established using phpBB?
I think this would be a huge feature for all the people out there suffering from forum spam using phpBB.
Anyone have any success doing this?
Can’t install properly
Published on April 17th, 2009 byI am really confused why I can’t get past the install script. The button in Step 2 to start the install is all messed up looking, but I click on it anyways. It then keeps taking me to the same error:
Your attempt to do this has failed.
Please try again.
Any suggestions on what went wrong?

Creating Subforums
Published on April 16th, 2009 by hobeikaI feel really stupid asking this question, but I can’t figure out how to create a subforum. My website is http://www.overtimetrainingcenter.com/forum/ and I want to create 2 different boards: One for Overtime MMA and one for Overtime Wrestling.
Most other forum software programs I have seen have the option to create subforums, but I can’t figure out where to add subforums in BBpress. Is there a special plugin I need to download to do so?
Thanks
Any idea when final version will come out?
Published on April 16th, 2009 by TestHello bbPress team,
I extremely like bbPress as it is fast and simple. But need to know when final version will be out? Please update.
Thanks,
