Just wanted to make sure you were on the tagging system we were talking about.
What are the issues you are having. People deleting/removing tags from threads?
I’m not 100% as I don’t deal a lot with multisite, but I don’t belive the subsites should conflict with one and other.

@The Newb – posting a thread bashing bbPress, complaining how “complicated”, and how no one helps you – despite being a member of the forum for 1 week and only posting once is insulting.
Obviously bbPress is not the forum software for you – that is fine. Good luck installing and customizing an alternative.

Did you activate one of the default themes and see if that made the problem go away?
Well the best thing would be to contact the theme author if possible. Otherwise you’ll have to see if you can track down the problem 
95% of the time when this happens it is because your theme is doing some weird things behind the scenes.
The first thing you will want to do is eliminate your theme as the source of the problem.
To do this, temporarily activate TwentyEleven, and now see if this issue is fixed. If it is then the issue is definitely with your theme.
What version are you using?
You will need to make modifications to your theme’s style.css. Are you familiar with CSS?
Check your theme’s CSS.
It is because the other posts have a class ‘reply’ added to them and your theme is using that for certain areas already.
It looks OK to me but I rarely mess with stuff like this.
If your site is still under development, you may consider upgrade bbPress to 2.1 (currently in testing). It has some new theming features and auto-detection in place.
In 2.1 it should automatically find those files without needing to put anything in your functions.php.
If you do choose to try 2.1, since it is “beta” at the moment make sure and back up everything first just to be safe.
You will have to elaborate on that.
The 2.1 upgrade should be smooth, however yo should certainly make backups before you update.

Hmm, I don’t know – I can’t replicate the problem on any of my 2.1 installs.
You’ll need to give the .htaccess file permissions (via FTP) so WordPress can write to it.

Just for grins try setting your permalinks. Go to Settings > Permalinks and pick one of the structures, then save.
See what happens when you take out everything in the <?php ?> except the_title();
If you are using bbPress 2.x (which you are) all the users are shared and everything is taken care of automatically – so no need to worry
The article you were reading might have been for bbPress pre 2.x.
I see what you mean. I’m not sure, I played around with the CSS but couldn’t get it to work either.
It’s worth noting that bbPress 2.1 actually has switched to a tableless layout

To answer your question you will either have to edit your theme or you can hide that stuff using CSS, eg
