Something is messed up. Kakumei blue is calling css of Kakumei and not of itself.
Overwrite your bbPress files with a fresh set and you should be fine
Anyhow we can get to a topic by a post id?
Instead send am email to everyone on each post. It would be easy to add the email function on a hook which works just after posting.

Regarding the plugin, AFAIK the plugin does only tell you the lines you need to add in config file for cookie permissions. The plugin is not needed afterwards. Correct me if I am wrong.
If you have logged in from WP side and then on bbPress side, it shows you as admin but it will throw you back on the front page then its a known issue.

It means whole WordPress is loaded along with bbPress so that WP functions can be used for bringing the WordPress stuff inside bbPress (theme, sidebars, widgets etc)
you can even show the login form anywhere by calling its function – login_form();

yes exactly where bb-config-sample.php reside.
there should be another file named bb-config.php
Delete it and then you can open the url in browser as domain.com/bbpress
delete the bb-config.php file and reinstall by going to the url
Like the highlighted entries in the screenshot, bb_capabilities for user_id 3 should be a:1:{s:9:"keymaster";b:1;}

Hooking into bbPress will also required me to save much information as the recent replies table will be different for each user.
What’s your bbdb tool? I am more interested into querying the database directly but I am not able to think of how I can do it other than iteratively quering the database but since it will be the first screen after login (and that too different for each user), so I really can’t iteratively queries here.
So this seems to trace back to BackPress
Yes we are running the trunk here. After 1.1 don’t know if running a trunk version would make sense at all.
