We have a forum that is private. A forum message looks like this:
boeken kopen
Views: 8 Gestart door: Adele Schmidt in: Privé: Vraag en antwoord
We would like to delete if a message is Privé or not. So we want to have it like this:
boeken kopen
Views: 8 Gestart door: Adele Schmidt in:Vraag en antwoord
How can we do this.
Thanks

Over on the ticket page (https://bbpress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/2523#comment:1) there is a ticket reporting a bug in which reply treading breaks pagination.
I was about to report the same thing, until I saw a reply explaining that disabling pagination is by design. I had just spent the better part of a morning trying to figure out what happened to the pagination on my site. Turns out I had activated the reply threading.
Several other members in another support thread have asked for a solution. It’s not clear to me why it isn’t possible to paginate replies where threading is enabled. A solution in which a top-level reply, along with all of its threaded sub-level replies, is counted as a single reply for pagination purposes would be acceptable — certainly better than the present situation, where you can choose threading or pagination but not both.
And at the very least, this either/or choice needs to be made transparent to the user. Clicking an innocent looking check box on a configuration page shouldn’t disable another function on the same page without a warning. That’s just bad design. It wouldn’t be difficult, for example, to grey-out and disable the pagination controls when the threading check box is checked. That would get the message across.
If my skills were up to it, I’d offer to help. As it is, I can only offer my feedback.

I’m very new to WP, so thanks for the support. After reading lots of support pages I’ve been able to create a simple home page showing a single Forum Topic; however, it also shows all of my other pages as boxes just below the forum box (e.g. registration, lost password, etc.) as one very long webpage. It looks like it shows all the website pages on one long page.
I’m just trying to setup my site and on the home page show only the Forum Topics. So I created a new page (lets call it “Start”) and redirected the home page to this “Start”. This worked fine.
Next I used the short code to show my identified forum. The problem is that it shows everything else.
When I go to the forum page things look great (aka it only shows the forum, header and right column).
Go to www.sciencegeek.com to see the problem.
Thanks again

In have 5 forums under a category; is there a way to make the appear in a tree-like manner, the same as most forums? I’m not sure if there’s an easy way to do this or if it’s theme-related.
Thank you for your time!

Hi,
I have an issue with the media in the forums. When I click on images, video, or media, it takes me right back to the create new topic page and when I click on the add new button it does the same thing.
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0a046e0k18
Also, when I am in a group and I click on members, then it takes me to the page where it shows ALL members.
I have tried to deactivate the plugins to see if they were conflicting but it sill does the same thing.
Can anyone help me out with this?
Thanks

These are two notices I get when I’m logged in and about to post on the forums.
Is there any way to remove them?
“You can use BBCodes to format your content.”
“Your account has the ability to post unrestricted HTML content.”
Thank you for your time!

Hi. Sorry for my GTranslate, pls 😉
In all forums that I know of “Reply” button is responsible for the fact that in the message box will be entered nickname, which I want to answer. I want this same functionality to my forum. How can this be implemented?

Hi there,
I was having trouble with a theme so I deactivated and reactivated bb press, since then all my “private” forums take me to a 404 page and when I view the forum root page, it doesn’t show the private forums listed.
However all the pages which I embedded the private forums via shortcode are still working and all the posts are there?
Eeek! Please help!
