how to give link in widget forum statics: for example there is total 5 topic and same as total 10 registered users, i need to give link on 5 means when i click on 5 it will redirect to the list of member page, how it is possible ?

I’m kinda new to the whole website creating thing, and really need some help with this one.

I have installed BBpress, Buddypress and BBpress new UI (To change the look of bbpress), now the website is www.steelvanguards.com

If you look on the forum page, I have disabled the widget so that I have the full page for the forum. However the forum is only in the middle of the page.

I have tried adding :

.bbpress .container {
max-width:100% !important;
}

To a few files, as per the previous topics, but nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong? I can’t find anything in any of the files which relates to the actual width of the forum.

Please please help. . . because I’m on the verge of giving up and going back to WPSymposium. . . which doesn’t have enough features for what I need.

Hi, I’ve noticed a strange issue with the way the main Forums Archive page is displayed. Each forum has the forum name, along with TOPICS, POSTS, and FRESHNESS. I think the FRESHNESS field should display the date of the last reply or topic, but instead it only shows the date of the last topic.

This is an issue for us because the forum tends to have infrequent new topics, but quite long threads. So for example, the most recent new topic might be 6 days, but the most recent reply could be 30 minutes ago. In this example, the FRESHNESS field in the archive page is displaying 6 days, which is clearly wrong.

Is this by design or is it a problem with our install? If its by design, is there a way to tweak it to show the freshness of the most recent topic OR reply? Thanks in advance!

is it possible to change users profile URL to be usernames instead of first and last name?
for example..

www.example.com/forums/users/username instead of.. www.example.com/forums/users/firstname-lastname

What im trying to accomplish is simply add someones username to their profile page because my profile URLs go by their first and last name whilst my forum only displays usernames…

I’ve found where i can place it but what would i use to grab the current profiles username and print it?

Hi, is there any way for users to search by author? For example – to search for all posts by author X that contain the word Y? Are there any plugins that do this, or perhaps search parameters that users can enter into the standard search box? Thanks!

One of my users is asking if it’s possible to show the breadcrumb at the bottom of a post so that they don’t have to scroll back up to the top to navigate the forums after posting. Is there any way to have the breadcrumb also display at the bottom? The problem I see with this is you’re not always at the bottom of the screen after posting either, so you might have to still scroll to the bottom to get to the breadcrumb. Maybe what we’re looking for is a way to re-load the page at the top after posting instead… Any suggestions on either? Thanks!

I am using a wordpress skin that integrates BBPress very nicely. One thing I am looking to do, however is make the bbpress forums have a hierarchy like any other software out there currently. I am not that amazing at coding and would appreciate if someone could explain in an easy to understand way. If it’s something that I would have to code completely over, i’d be willing to pay someone to help me code that.

I want to order my bbpress forums in a specific order that is not alphabetical, how do I change it so that on my site its in a specific order that I want?
