Hi, I am using bbPress to run a forum where my users can upload contents on it.
everything was working fine until few days ago I realized that whenever I tried to click on a topic in a specific forum, Critical Error occured in WordPress. By downgrading PHP version to 7.4 from 8.0, I managed to access the topics again. However, now I am unable to see the reply’s contents neither the attachements (my users can upload file in reply as well).

Strangely, when I click EDIT in reply, I can see the reply in texts (attachments do not show though) but when I hit the Submit button, the reply box is still blank.
I checked the Replies box in WordPress admin and I can see they are correctly linked to the topic.

Can somebody help me? I have been looking through a respectful amount online but I could not find a solution 🙁

activation emails not sending. I am using smtp via a plugin called WP Mail SMTP. All emails are sending except from the bbpress ones for activating email.

I have buddypress installed but how do I integrate its private messaging system? I’ve seen some functions.php snippets on google but none them still work.

The bbp-login shortcode page has a register button. That register button takes you to /wp-login instead of bbp-register

The bbp-register page has a button on the buttom to complete registration. But the button does not have enough padding on the bottom and is cut off on most browsers.

I have installed bbpress, why doesn’t it send notifications by email, once you check the box and they reply to your discussion? I have forms set up, and I do get the form emails. can anyone help me?

There’re new topics, but when I click to see the content, it’s blank. I can see only username.

How can I allow users to post a topic with the same title. I plan to run a website that will probably have alot of users posting same or similar title names.

The subscription to forums used to work. Mails were sent to subscribers.
I did some changes by using bbp style pack and I registered new subscribers. It seemed to work.
I also loaded Health check and Trouble shooting but then uninstalled it.

After some time, It suddenly stopped working. No more notification for the new posts… I am not sure it is related to the changes I made, but I have no idea where it could come from.

Can you help ?

Hi.I attempted to translate the BP registration page using the Loco translate plugin, but was unsuccessful.
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to go about this?

It works for whole site except login and registration page.
