Hey there,
I’m having an -insanely- frustrating issue with a login redirect. Basically, when on a topic page, the standard “You must be logged in to reply” text is accompanied by a login form. This form *should* redirect the user back to the forum page they were on previously.
But for some reason, the login form is going directly to the “My Account” page that WooCommerce provides… which I obviously need for my “customer” (role) users to land on when they log in.
I don’t know if this is more of a general WP question, or something I should post at the woocommerce support page or what. (And I’ve spend far too many hours today trying to research and try lots of different redirect scripts in functions.php – without ANY luck)
But can anyone provide any insight for somehow separating the bbpress user login and woocommerce user login so that they can have different redirect targets?
We paid a developer years ago to install bbpress onto our website to create a forum. Now, after years of no success with this, we would like to uninstall from our site. But everytime we deactivate bbpress our entire site goes down. How can we remove this from our site without breaking it?
Hi,
i have a problem offseting target element from reply_link->bbp_reply_url(). I use they reply_link in both topics and recent_topics widget, reason for creating offset is due to having “top navigation” fixed to screen, which results in lowered height. This leads to having linked replies cut in viewscreen (by navigation height) when navigating to them. I’ve tried both padding through css (pseudoclasses), and adding jquery functions (tho i dont thing that will work due to non-scroll nature of reply_link url).
Does any one have any idea how to bite this? I was thinking about:
– jquery function that offsets whole site by certain amount after given time (like 500ms) as soon as it takes over any anchor navigation on site (aka “a:target” pseudoclass based)
Never rly done much in jquery so im not sure bout possible solutions, hope u guys will have any clue on subject.

Robak

Hi,
I’ve created a custom form using Gravity Forms to add topics in bbPress. Everything seems to work fine when I look at the backend but when I look at the view, the count is accurate but my new topic is not showing up.
I think I need to trigger a hook upon submitting the form to update the parent but not sure what I’m looking for.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
(I’m running WP 4.4.2, bbPress 2.5.8, BuddyPress 2.4.3)
Thank you!
