Forum Root Issue

Published on March 1st, 2017 by ellencrombie

Hi there,

Just setting up a couple of forums on my site, however despite following the set up instructions the root/index page doesn’t seem to work it just comes up with text – see here http://www.teenrunner.co.uk/forums/

I use the foodie pro theme. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Edit Profile (pale blue) Fields

Published on March 1st, 2017 by russ8523

I simply want to edit the wording in the (Pale Blue), fields in the ‘Edit Profile’ section. an example: to change “Your password should be at least ten characters long. Use upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols to make it even stronger.” to “eight characters long”. Also the (Pale Blue), name field is empty, just a ‘period’. Where is the code/file located? I’ve searched high and low!?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Restrict links only for registered users.

Published on March 1st, 2017 by Md Sadiqur Rahman

Hi there,
I was looking for an option restrict link only for registered users. Say someone put a link in the comment, normal user will see it as it is (e.g https://bbpress.org/forums/new-topic/) But unregistered one will see “please register to see the link”. Is there a way to add this functionality?

Thank you

Having recently migrated from vbulletin where i had category sub-forums with threads and posts inside. What is my best bet given that bbpress doesn’t appear to support that feature?

Published on February 28th, 2017 by junglejim620

Hi bbPress,

From the edit page, I used this shortcode

.

Then set full template with no sidebars and from the bottom sidebar I chosen NONE. The page still showing the sidebar?

The main question is, is there anyway making NOT to show the sidebar on the page?

Please advise help, thanks
