Hello please how to create the new post Link on bbpress thanks?

Hi all,

I’d really appreciate some guidance on a couple of plugins that may or may not exist to help with styling of my forums. (My site: www.plymouthoctopus.org)

I’m hoping to achieve something like this: https://seventhqueen.com/support/forums/forum/kleo/bugs-issues – note the wide reply incorporating the avatar, and also randomly assigned avatars. I thought this might be custom CSS but I have seen very similar designs on other sites (plex.tv) and have concluded, perhaps wrongly, that this is a plugin doing the styling.

I’ve searched all through the plugin suggestions on this forum, installed loads (thought that bbp Style Pack was what I’d been looking for) but to no avail. Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

I was hoping someone could help me with an issue I was having.

I’m currently using a custom page for login, e.g. example.com/forums/

When the user logins in correctly, they’re redirected to example.com/forums/ which is perfect.

However, if the user enters an incorrect password, they’re redirected to example.com/wp-login.php

How can I change it so they’re never redirected to the wp-login.php page after a failed login attempt and remain on the /forums/ page?

I’m trying to use Post Via Mail so that forum users can reply to forum posts directly from their email. I’ve had a rough time getting it set up with Postmark (required in order for Post Via Mail to work) and can’t get it to work properly. Any reply from email does not get posted to the forum. Any thoughts?

I have a multisite wp installation (4.8.2) with bbPress forum (2.6-rc-3) and Akismet activated. Only logged in members are allowed to write in forum. One of our members is of unknown reason blacklisted and we have to approve his posts every time. Is there any way to get him whitelisted?

Hi. I’m using bbpress 2.5.14 and bbp private groups 3.5.9. The theme is EduPress by WPZOOM. The site is private so I can’t share.

Links aren’t showing in forum posts. They might be white because you can locate them with the cursor. See screenshots.

I am trying to reply to a thread of my issue in this forum, and now am being disallowed.

The reason is in red, stating: ERROR: Your reply cannot be created at this time.

What is causing this?

Is there any way to convert all my bbpress topics and replied to WordPress posts and comments respectively
I have 1000 topics and I want to convert them with a plugin.
I installed this plugin https://github.com/jmdodd/bbpress-topic-post-converter but the option to convert does not come.
Please help.

I’ve noticed there are some issues when the forums are displayed on handsets.

Users names from under their profile pictures trail off the right side of the screens, and worse still, when reading posts and replies within topics, all the users profile pics squash themselves all together at the top left hand-side of the screen.

** Note that if I rotate my handset to the landscape side, it all works great and no issues at all with the profile pictures going back to the normal places…

Everything else works great, just this little incompatibility. Any of you guys can suggest anything like a CSS rule that only targets this issue with the BBPress plugin to fix this?

I have some question:

– how to remove the field “WEB” for “Anonymous” (guest users without account) ?
I found a similar question in other topic but this question (posted more than 5 months ago) did not receive any answer

– is a catalog or list of those Anonymous users existing ? not only for the users which have replied in a topic (or created one) but also for those who have placed a comment and/or answered to a comment on a post

– which is the best plug-in for “register” or “subscriber” to install to avoid the intervention of the admin (present methodology applied for members untel now) – our site was build with a pro version of the theme “Exibit”
