How do I change font color in closed forum topics

Published on February 6th, 2018 by locutus1

Posts in my forum that are open are fine but when they are closed they become very hard to read. Whether the post is a sticky or not doesn’t matter. In every case when a post is closed, the text is grey and very hard to read. I would like to change the font color for the topic title, author and body of all closed posts. Is this possible? Thanks. Currently, I’m using a plugin that gives many forum options called bbp style pack. If I disable that plugin it doesn’t help. The text is still grey. I would be willing to use another plugin instead of bbp style pack if that would help.

Thanks

displayed outside of post

Published on February 5th, 2018 by brent0r

Is the

  • displaying correctly when it is displayed outside/below of a post?
    eg.
  • cc
    vcx
    vcx
  • vcxvxc v

  • vcxv
    vcx
  • “Correct Title”
    `

  • displayed outside of post’
Looks like html tags can’t be displayed in post titles.

More to the point of my post:
    the ‘li

  • ‘ tag seems to be displaying under the post. Is this correct?
  • No back button to parent forum

    Hello,

There doesn’t seem to be a back button to parent forum or sub forum when you drill down.

    Check out this forum:

    Finance

Go into the cryptocurrency forum. I don’t see a back button on any of the forums though

    Any assistance is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chris

One topic in multiple forums – possible?

    Published on February 4th, 2018 by b_d_m_p

    Hi,

I need to make a site that has multiple forums, and I need it to be possible to make a new Topic and have it in more than one forum at the same time. A better analogy would be tags, but I can’t have the user making whatever tags they want—the tags would have to be only ones that the admin had allowed and have a hierarchy. What would be the best approach to get this functionality?

    Cheers,

    Brett

    Import parent and child relationships

    Published on February 4th, 2018 by jkw217

This is a common problem for ALL bbpress. Appears when importing forums, topics and replies it breaks the relationship between parent and child.

Currently I am having to resave over 1400 topics for them to show up in the forums after import.

I have over 15,000 replies that will need resaving as well until bbpress resolves the import bug.

Published on February 4th, 2018 by carriercarrier

    Hi.
I know how to add text and toggle above the forum “root” page, but I wonder if there is a way to add the text and/or toggle above the “forum-title” on all group forum pages. I use Divi theme.

    pls see here
    Groupforum page: http://prntscr.com/i9woq4

    Group topic page: http://prntscr.com/i9wpa8

    Thx for all suggestions

Moving topic from one forum to another

Published on February 3rd, 2018 by allanmisner

A user has created a topic in a forum. After responding, I wanted to move the topic to another, more relevant, forum. None of the options allow this and even “merge” only displays topics in the same forum. Please advise. Thanks!

    Cannot See Forum Replies.

Hi. My forum page has suddenly stopped displaying comments left by readers. It will show a count along with the last person to comment (All contained in bar) but not their actual comments. I have checked all the setting I can find but nothing relating to that.
    Thanks
