Hi Guys
I’m setting up the forum with a subforum where users can only see their own posts and replies to it, not posts from anyone else. Basically, users are uploading links to audition videos and having them reviewed by staff, but we don’t want users to see posts from other users in the same forum. Admin/staff can see all posts of course. Is this possible, or is there a plugin that allows it?
Cheers
Lucas

I am using the bbpress [forum] plugin.
I do not want to use it in its default state. I want to have it maintain my site’s design.
According to what I have read [HERE; https://codex.bbpress.org/themes/theme-compatibility/ ]
to do so requires me to copy both the bbpress and the css directories
from the default folder and paste it or upload
it into the ‘theme’ directory/ folder.
Thing is I am not quite sure if I ought to paste them [ bbpress & css directories] into the wp-config.php folder
& if so where [in the wp-config.php folder] ? Is it Before or after the present info I see there now?
Dear all
I want to hide the forum and its posts from the visitors, only the login in users can see the posts or the forum
now I hide the forum page but if anyone have a post link he can see the content even if he is not registered with us
Hi,
I am looking for a specific search mechanism:
The site I am developing has about 4 Main Forums, and those Forums will have 2, 3 or 4 levels of subforums.
Additionally, I will have a whole bunch of differrent tags [categories], that I will assign manually to the topics
(a new topic is created, I have a look at it and decide, which category (tag) I will give it).
Now, what I need is a search field, that covers all this tags / forums,
so that the user can select what he searches for, and in which forums.
a) do you know of any such plug-in, that gives a search option via tags (categories) & forums
b) do you know of a plug-in, that allows the admin of the site to assign tags (categories) to topics, that the user (or creator of the topic) cannot change himself …
I’d be thankful if you could answer me this question.

Hello,
I am having a problem with bbPress. When I go to my forum, my welcome page is in that path. Like it is Welcome > Forum > Forum topic. I do not want my welcome page to be there. I have included a screenshot that will show what I am talking about. If someone can help me out here, that would be awesome.
Thank you in advanced!

Hello! Tell me, please, how to make the topic respond to the user by clicking on his nickname under the avatar?
How do I set my bbPress forums page as my home page in WordPress?
Why does my members only forum show that there are guests online when there are no guests in the membership site. Also, bbpress info says that there have been 36 guests in the last 24 hours. Anyone with access to the forum has a Participant role. So, who are these guests and where are they coming from? Thanks.
