hey, im Motz again, and as you can see my website (hentaitube.org) doesnt have permalinks cuz it doesnt work, and i´ve tried everything. i have godaddy.com now but i wanna switch to Dreamhost, its possible that if i just change the premalinks to “slugs” using dreamhost this system will work correctly? oO im using the version 0.8.3.1 …

My new install of both wordpress and bbpress seems to linked successfully, as when I login, i am automatically logged in on the other.

However, logging out of one, does not log me out of the other.

Additionally, when this occurs, it is possible for me to log back in under a different account and find that each now as a different account logged in.

Displays great in I.E. but is all messed up in FireFox. I’ve been working on this a long time – It’s probably something simple or stupid I’m overlooking. Can someone please take a look and see what I’ve done to it?

I was halfway through creating a forum with Expression Engine when my client decided that Word Press was the way she wanted to go after all. I had created about 50 users, based on a Yahoo group of hers, and had input half the posts on that Yahoo group into the EE forum, logging in as the varied users and posting them individually, by hand.

DON’T want to repeat that effort. I’m hoping it will be simple to export a file of the users, import that into your BB forum, then do the same with the posts. Or it may be faster, more cost effective for her, to find someone here with the expertise to get that done.

I’d like a way to allow my users to set a different avatar, whether uploaded by them (like the Avatar Upload plugin) or on a different site. But I’d also like to allow them to choose to use Gravatar. I don’t want one or the other, I want both, because some of my users already use Gravatar, and some of them won’t ever try it. Any ideas?

i was thinking about a plug with that hides, cloak, the links to those visitors who are not registered or logged in the website. Its a great idea i think for those who need to get emails or more registered people.

the script needs to detect the <a href=""… etc etc code to “cloak” the links

I looked on here, but wasn’t quite able to find how to do this. If I missed it I apologize. How would I modify topic titles to not have the name of the forum in the title? What would I change? What file would I modify? Such as:

This is the default title structure right now on my theme:

<title>Topic Title >> Forum Name</title>

I would like to change the title structure to this:

<title>Topic Title</title>

Any ideas? Thanks.
