I`ve enabled the bbpress plugin in WordPress
Ive added the lines to WP config and the BBpress lines to bb`s config
It just doesnt seem to be working
Have the same problem since 0.9.x

What exactly IS the BBXF format? I can’t find a schema for it and I would like to convert over a decade of forum data from a proprietary system on learnjazzpiano.com into a format that can be imported into bbpress.

Some poor formatting occurs when a very long description is used for a forum. The main page showed the forum and its description split across two lines like this:
A Place for
Anything – Anything and everything goes, within the bounds of the forum’s friendly ethos. If none of the other, specialised
(note: the description actually is longer than that, and causes a horizontal scroll bar to appear in the browser; also note that the forum name was split onto the second line).

Okay, I’ve installed WP 2.8 (beta1) and bbPress RC1. It appears to be integrated together. Except the obvious: my wordpress site has no link for my visitors to click on to go to the bbPress forum. Should I create a “page” which (somehow?) redirects to the bbPress forum? i.e. so that it appears in the middle column of my WP theme?

I have a hot tag that appeared at install that persists. The tag is “bbPress” and shares the first line of the Hot Tags with the “legitimate” first tag. There are no documents with this tag and recount has been performed with all options checked. Where is this coming from?

Further…after I tried to proceed, it showed an error (that it could not connect to the database…which you’d expect given that it didn’t have the password). However, after going back to the step 2 page, it showed a condensed version of the page, with tick marks in the various check boxes – the only way to see the data I had entered before was to untick each box and then put the tick back into each.

I uploaded all the files to my site and then went to the location via the browser. I followed all the instructions and finished the install. It says the install was good and I just visit my link at WWW… When I click the link it takes my back to the first step of the install. What am I doing wrong.
The only other option I have selected in the install is the WP_ user integration and it says that part works fine when i go to the next step.
When I add a post on creatingfame.com/members/forum the post shows up fine but when I submit a reply to the post I get a page with this message:

Nothing else is on the page.
I am unable to validate my feeds with Feed Validator. I understand the problem and have read about the fixes. Where do I access the http://media-proinc.com/ribblog/feed file to edit it. It is not located in my site files. Do I edit it in Word Press dashboard?
