Hi all,
Just started playing around with my first ever install of BBPress. Have added the BB-attachments plugin and it all works perfectly except for the icons which do not want to display for some reason.
They are all uploaded to the correct location (http://www.domain.net/forum/my-plugins/bb-attachments/icons/) but they just won’t display on screen. Any ideas?

i’ve just installed successfully mybb v. 1.4.1. I’ve followed the steps in the manual – changed the permisions of files, done the install right. But when i log in to the admin CP the buttons on the left are blank and close toghether.. everything looks like it wasn’t loaded or images missing.. looks so shrunk.
Anyone have an idea where i did wrong?

I am looking for any help possible because this plugin isn’t wanting to play nice at all.
I have already checked this referenced post – http://blog.ashfame.com/2009/10/fix-bb-attachments-plugin-of-bbpress/ – which helped straightening out the DB problem of the bb-attachment table not being created.
However while the file is being entered in the DB table nothing is showing up in the bb-attachment folder (http://screencast.com/t/NzYzNzIy)
All I am getting it the ‘Failed’ notice on first view (http://screencast.com/t/MGNkOWJm)
Then when you refresh the page even that is gone (http://screencast.com/t/ZDNiZjdk)
It might be important to note that this is is being hosted on a WinServer (no smart ass remarked needed)
If anyone has any suggestions on what to try I would greatly appreciate the assistance.
Is there a way to let only “approved users” make comments or posts. I do not want everyone to be able to sign up, without being approved….any help would be appreciated.

I just realized my theme wasn’t using the topic_page_links icon link feature and inserted it in the correct spots in the front and front page files.
The numbers are showing up and work correctly but the little topic icon doesn’t want to show. I’m running bbPress 1.02. Any advice?

I still have one part of my custom theme to fix up but for the remaining 99% everything is working great. So yes a conversion can be done – it ain’t easy but it is possible.
We currently have a forum on SmartMachines but would like to migrate it over to a new forum using bbPress. Is it possible to import the data and structure?

i’m new to bbPress, i have some questions that i didn’t find answer to.
1. is it possible to organize a thread with “+/-” feature? i mean when pressing “+” the thread opens with all the posts, and pressing “-” causes it wrapping.
2. is it possible to make topics threaded, not flat? i searched forums here but all the answers about it are not distinct. the majority couldn’t make it work (the plugin).
3. is it possible to make anonymous posts?
this is my need, not just an interest. thanks.
