Hi all,
I’m trying to see if there is functionality built into bbPress; I want users when the arrive on the forum to have highlighted topics where there are new posts/replies since last visit.
I’ve been looking through the default themes and haven’t found any joy in there.
Googling a bit and I can’t find any clear answers

I have installed bbpress on a directory called “Forum” of a subdomain. I am able to get to the main forum page without issue, but when I try to get into the “admin” section it just redirects back to the main page?????
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi there,
I’ve got bbPress version 1.0.2 and WordPress version 3.0.1 without MU.
I’ve deep integrate WP and bbpress everything is working but…
When new user register at WP and i’m approving him the role in bbpress is not changing. I’m sure that i have linked roles correctly because i was checking this hundred times.
I’m using few plugins:
– Disable Registrations
– Force Login
– Support Forums
– zaerl Visibility
And i also tryied to do something with plugin “User Roles Table for bbPress” but nothing helps.
In WP i use:
– bbPress Integration
– Theme My Login
– User Role Editor
I’m also using theme “iBlogPro Forum” and “iBlogPro”.
When i’m in bbpress admin and i’m clicking on “edit” user i got right link to edit with correct user ID but it’s showing my data and my profile, furthermore there is no option or select when i can change user role.
Is there any way to change this role in MySQL direct?

Hello. I wonder how I can or I have to be configured to integrate bbPress on my template. I have a page fullwidth, ie that only has the header, footer and bottom, making it perfect for integrating the forum.
How I can do to make bbPress use this page?
A greeting and thank you very much.
Sorry for the English

I deleted a topic by mistake, and now in admin I go to undelete it. It gives me this error: “There is a problem with that topic, pardner.”
What does this mean. We recently upgraded to the latest bbpress version. i tested this out on other deleted topics and even posts. get the same error. for posts its There is a problem with that post, pardner.

I’m near to completing the wp & bbpress website integration but ive hit one last snag.
What is the best solution for the profile page?
I’d like to show the user their activity but also allow them to view/edit their profile information.
The problem I have is that i have extended their profile on the wp side so they can enter in more info ie phone number etc but is there a way to set up a page that can show the extended info plus the activity from the forums and also allow them to view favourite forum posts?
have any of you done something similar?
do you know of a plugin i can use to achieve this?
Alternately I could set up a page to show the profile on the wp side and call it dashboard for example then use the theme my profile page to show this.
As a user do you think that would work? So they have a dashboard with the profile info and a profile page on the forum side that shows their activity etc?
Love to hear your thoughts

hi all,
i have just installed bbpress as per guidelines and got successful install notifications.
however when i try to access my site, i get this error:
Oh dear!
bbPress is already installed.
Perhaps you meant to run the upgrade script instead?
Im not sure how to proceed. I can provide links if anyone wishes.
any help is much appreciated.

I downloaded and installed this plug in now every time i try to login I get a message that says:
Fatal error: Class ‘BB_User’ not found in /home/cowtoon1/public_html/forum/my-plugins/approve-user-registration.php on line 58
Anyone know a fix or know of a plugin that does the same thing?
