Hello folks,
I’ve been having a problem with my Buddypress MulitSite after installing bbPress. (Initial thread https://buddypress.org/support/topic/lost-the-ability-to-add-member-moderator-and-other-user-roles-in-my-site/)
On a subsite I created a while ago, on the “Add New User” page (http://sub1.example.com/wp-admin/user-new.php) I can add a new user while assigning their role as: Admin, Editor, Author, Keymaster, Member, Blocked, Inactive, etc
But on another subsite I created today, on the same “Add New User” page, the only roles I can assign to a new user are: Subscriber, Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor.
Just those 5.
The only change I made in between was installing bbPress.
One thing I just noticed is that for the “functioning” subsites (where I can see “all” the roles), under the users page (http://sub1.example.com/wp-admin/users.php), the admin is also the keymaster.
In the new sites being created (without “all” the user roles), the admin is not the keymaster in the user page. In fact, there is no keymaster.
So does this problem stem from bbpress? I only recently installed BB-Press plugin, before the problems began. So I’m assuming this might be the problem. I network deactivated it, but the problem still stands.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
Any theories?
I have no idea why this is happening – forums are not displayed under each other but next to each other – This is basic stuff probably but what have I done – Same happens on Twenty 11 too !!!!

Which .php file to correct?
WordPress: 3.5.1
bbPress: 2.2.4
Wishlist: 2.71
Does anyone have this versions of bbPress working with Wishlist Member? Topic contents are not being displayed. I suspect it is a bug in the Wishlist Member protection logic. Strangely topic replies are being displayed.
If I change the users role to Administrator, topic contents appear again. But other backend protection changes do not work.
Any help or advice gratefully received.
Wishlist Members advice is to use Simple:Press but I’d much rather stick with bbPress.
Thanks.
Hi!!
I have the bbpress loggin widget embedded in my forum page, however, the login/logout buttons have a font that is unreadable (white font on a white background). I cannot locate where to change the font for the login/logout buttons. Can anyone help?
Thanks!!!
The forum avatars are fuzzy. I assume they are pulling from buddypress. Is there a way make them higher resolution and larger?
I would like to change them without changing the core files?
I’m using wordpress 3.5.1 with buddypress 1.7
theme triton lite, and I’m using a child theme.

thanks.
How I can add new css classes to a (specific) post? It already exists or I should make a request for a new hook (if possible)?
I have dracmor.com and I have installed a forum at http://dracmor.com/forums/forum/pirates/. I am using Mantra theme. I managed to change the font, which made it easier to read. Now I would like to get rid of the column for ‘Voices’ then move over the columns labeled ‘Posts’ and ‘Freshness’ so it look nice and neat.
I’ve looked through the files a few times and I know I am missing something, I just don’t know what.
Hello
A WordPress-based site that I read often uses BBPress for its forum.
It currently doesn’t support a mobile version, making it a pain to access from a smartphone.
Is there a good add-on so that BBPress can offer two versions of a forum, depending on whether it’s accessed from a desktop browser or a smartphone browser?
Thank you.
I was wondering if anyone knew the query that remapping uses. I have a database of 100k+ users and it gets as far as 25,000 before it stops. I know someone said to look in wp_options for _bb_converter or something along those lines, but I don’t have anything like that in my wp_options.
If someone has another suggestion on how to finish the import, I’m up for suggestions. I figure running a query might be the best way to handle such a large import but I could be wrong
