I am running Esplanade theme with buddy press + bbpress.
Posts/ replies are not being displayed.
The forums recognise that there are posts there but not displaying.
Under activity of buddypress the posts appear, so they are being stored.I guess?
Have tried changing theme, removing and readding all plugins no luck.
Heave read somewhere it might be do with functions.php?
If so what do I need to add or change?
Help would be greatly appreciated!
Newb here.

Hi guys,
I have a forums site though WordPress and bbPress and would like to know if the feature stated below is possible or hopefully created.
Hopefully it’s possible for there an alerts button in the menu bar that shows them recent replies to subscribed topics on a page.
What I need is for every time someone has replied to a topic they are subscribed to, in the menu bar the alerts link will have an icon with how many alerts (unread) eg (2) in an icon. This would require the alerts page too.
I saw this on forums powered by another forum software. (PAID)
I use the latest bbPress and WordPress.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
ayden1232

My goal is to share one DB between wp and bbpress, one registration, seamless for users. The process of accomplishing this seems to have changed.
There’s all sorts of documentation on this topic and I’ve spent the last five hours trying to find my answer before bothering the good people of the internet, so I would greatly appreciate a hand now. It would appear that in recent changes, bb-config.php no longer exists? Installation process where you can fill out DB details in an easy form process seems to be gone?
Integrating with WordPress
So the settings must be in a config file somewhere! This infamous “WordPress Integration” section must be somewhere!
I’m using WordPress 3.5.1 and BBpress 2.2.4
Thanks.

I just started using bbpress 2.2.4. I’m using Twenty-twelve 1.1 theme, WP 3.5.1 and Impact Page Builder. When I create a forum, I can’t assign my Impact template to it. The forum page is just plain white. How do I fix this? Here is the link to the forum page: http://northidahocvma.org/forums/forum/members-input?preview=true
I would like the forum page to look something like this one:
http://northidahocvma.org/forum
Thanks so much!

I use a bbpress child theme CSS in my theme folder (/myTheme/css/bbpress.css), and it works just great. However, typically when I need to force visitors to re-download a css file, I do the common strategy of just adding a “?newversion” (or random text/number) at the end of the file name, like:
`link rel=”stylesheet” href=”/stylesheet.css?NEWVERSION1″ type=”text/css” `
However, since the child theme is being output through wp_head();, I have no way of doing this. Is there a way I can force visitors to reload this bbp child theme? Worst case scenario would be finding which bbPress file is hooking the child theme into wp_head, and me having to write in the “?newversion” in there. But I’ve no idea what file that would be.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Has anyone figured out how to sort topics, discussions, or replies? I would think that would be some basic functionality that would be built in. Or at least easy enough to find in the code to change.
I need to sort topics by topic name. Using version 2.2.4.

Hello all.
I’ve just deleted Simple Press, because I couldn’t import editor except plain editor.
I’ve installed this bbpress forum and I have no information about change or basic development.
For example I have a page that was installed simple press upon it. www.oyundragon.com/forum
And it is full-width. That’s why I want to use that page to show bbpress forum. Inserted shortcoded, good, it works But what a pity there is a bbpress forum page as you know www.oyundragon.com/forums
What should I do ?
Secondly how can I change “forum” title in the top of every forum sections in the content ?

Hello,
I need help with creating a log in box. I know the shortcode to use in the sidebar or in a wordpress page is , but I would like to create a log-in-box right on the main page of the forums as seen at studiopress.com/forums. I know that for this I need to add the code to the php template, though I do not know the code. Can you guys help me with the php code? Thanks in advance.
I’m using bbpress 2.2.4
