When I go from the forum root page into any of the forums I have it works great but if you hit the browsers back button I get a 404 error (The page you are trying to reach does not exist, or has been moved. Please use the menus or the search box to find what you are looking for.) The weird thing is that if I just re-fresh the 404 page the Forum returns. I’m getting the correct assures for the forum root page in my browser it just says 404 until I refresh it.
i have tried updating permalinks several time now but doesn’t seem to work.
here is the forum if you would care to see what happens…

Hi
Why does my site disappear when I install bbPress? The site just go blank – but I can still go to the dashboard.
And another question of mine about bbPress:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page
Thank you.

Site: http://dubiousdata.net/forums/forum/news
WP Version: 3.8
bbPress Version: 2.5.2
I would like to modify the new post form that displays below the current topics in a forum. I was trying to do it with only CSS, but I have run into a problem.
I want to remove the “Topic Tags” field below the body area. I initially tried with the following CSS:
label[for=bbp_topic_tags],
input[id=bbp_topic_tags] {
display: none;
}
This removed the form and label themselves, but there is a <p> </p> tag around these with no Class or other identifier, leaving a noticeable space.
What is the best way to accomplish this or modify the form?
“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”
Why is this happening?
I already installed User role editor and clicked on “reset”, but the above message still appears.
How to fix it?
Thank you.
I’m looking fore a BBpres widget where i can show the topics, only for the category’s i selected.
Someone can help me whit this?
Hi
I want to to reset all user roles to default in User Roles Editor, but I don’t see that option anywhere.
Where is it that button?

I’ve tried posting a question in the Troubleshooting forum twice this morning, and both posts have disappeared!!
I’m wondering if they are being flagged as spam possibly? The question was related to performance issues on the forums at BigBlueBall. Can one of the Keymasters check and let me know if my URL was causing this to be flagged as spam? That concerns me… obviously.
NOTE: Reposting this. My first post seems to have disappeared from the forums.
I successfully migrated my large forums from vBulletin to bbPress, thanks to the great advice here on the forums.
But I’m seeing serious performance issues, particularly when posting a new topic or reply. It can take 10 seconds or more for the server to respond.
I’m running the site on WPEngine and using Cloudflare CDN, but still have performance issues. I’ve removed all entries from the “ping sites” option under the Writing settings. Does anyone have any additional advice on how to improve the performance, or can you provide any tips on why the posts take so long?
The site in question is: http://bigblueball.com/discuss/forum/community-center/
I’ve got 17,643 registered users, 33k topics and 140k replies. I’d really like to sort this out, as the lag is killing interaction.
I migrated my forums from vBulletin successfully (thanks to advice here).
I’ve got:
- 17,643 Registered Users
- 65 Forums
- 33,338 Topics
- 140,676 Replies
I’m running on WPEngine and using Cloudflare for a CDN. But I’m seeing really slow loads when posting either a new forum topic or a reply to an existing topic.

Any suggestions?
I have WP 3.8 installed.
Using child theme of Watson Theme
I created a page for the forum index: http://songandfilm.com/community/
This page is not the theme’s default page, it’s the full-width page. Default page is centered.
Index page looks great – no problems.
When you click a forum it now goes to the theme’s default page: http://songandfilm.com/Community/forum/helpful-tips/
Is there a way I can have all forum pages use the full-width page?
Thanks!
