It seems I could only add one email account e.g admin for any email notification e.g. new user registration. Is it possible to have an email notification sent to another admin or moderator?
Thanks.
email notification to second admin
Published on April 11th, 2014 by batmanfanyoursite.com/?feed=rss2&post_type=forum works on browser but fails in RSS subscr
Published on April 11th, 2014 by davidgikandiHi,
I have read that the RSS feed for bbPress is: yoursite.com/?feed=rss2&post_type=forum
Mine is http://chamabox.co.ke/?feed=rss2&post_type=forum and if you look at that page you will see that it is showing only my forum topics and nothing from the rest of my blog.
However, when:
1. I put http://chamabox.co.ke/?feed=rss2&post_type=forum in feedburner, it refuses and says it is missing important XML and so cannot be burnt.
2. I put http://chamabox.co.ke/?feed=rss2&post_type=forum in Facebook’s RSSGraffiti it fails and says it is invalid
3. I put http://chamabox.co.ke/?feed=rss2&post_type=forum in Mailchimp.com’s RSS-to-email newsletter templates, it shows all my blog posts instead of forum posts.
How do I solve the above?
Thanks!
David
Subscribe link in Breadcrumbs
Published on April 10th, 2014 by shanerbaner82I have seriously looked everywhere and I am not sure what else to do. I am somewhat a noob to bbPress but not at all to the wordpress way of things. Iam a freelance developer. For the life of my I cannot find how to remove the subscription link from the pagination. The best I could do was float it to the right of the page, I do not want to display:none it because I want it show on replies. If anyone knows where I can remove this I would be very grateful. Thank you in advance.
Shane
PS here is a link to where I would like it removed:

Oh, WP 3.8.2 and BBPress 2.5.3, thanks!
how does bbpress.org keep highlighting the current page?
Published on April 10th, 2014 by pinkhareI want to keep my menu navigation to present that they’re under the current page(menu), but bbpress doesn’t keep highlight on the menu to show the state when they go to individual topic or reply page.
I would have wished that bbpress topic or reply would have a WordPress Template page to be linked like as a normal wordpress sub-pages so that I don’t need any workaround in the first place. In other words, all the bbpress topics or replies must be only displayed on the page that admin users created.
created WP page slug: forums -> topics (all topics here) -> replies (all replies here)
Anyway for now, how can I make the menu like this site?
My topics are not going under intended forums
Published on April 10th, 2014 by orko9696Everything was working fine few days ago. But from yesterday any topics i create or my members doesn’t go under forum. I tried again and again but no luck. I upgraded my wordpress to 3.8.2 and installed nextscript snap plugin couple of days ago. I tried deactivating snap, but that doesn’t solve the issue. I’m not sure what to do now, i asked few of my buddies, their bbpress is working fine with with wordpress 3.8.2, any suggestions are appreciated.
WordPress Version: 3.8.2
BBpress Version: 2.5.3

Customize sidebar widget 'recent topics'
Published on April 10th, 2014 by GahstoHi All!
I’m using Buddypress with bbpress (groups with forums).
Is it possible to configure the sidebar to show ‘recent topics’ from only the group the user is logged into?
As is, the ‘recent topics’ widget displays all recent topics from all groups. I know a user can’t access the actual post of a topic not within their group, but I’d like only their group topics to be listed.
Thoughts?

Blank TinyMCE and other issues
Published on April 10th, 2014 by BichoHi,
I’m running a WP site along with bbPress and BP. My problems began when I accidentally disabled bbPress and enabled it back again. From then on TinyMCE shows a blank space, no buttons and visual/text tabs are just dead, so users can hardly post a new topic.
I’ve tried nearly every possible trick known to man (cache, plugins, code lines..) but after 6~7 hours of failure I’m exhausted and frustrated. And what’s even worse: now the login bar (on top) and Twitter widget aren’t visible unless I (you) log in. Both were visible before the incident.
I hope anyone can help me sort this thing out. I’m not exactly an expert, so please keep that in mind before telling me what to do. Thanks in advance.
I’m using:
WP 3.8.1
bbPress 2.5.3-5249
my site: grafiscopio.com
Note: bbpress content is restricted for non-registered visitors
remove default photo?
Published on April 10th, 2014 byHi we have a new website and forum. The profiles for all forum participants include a picture found in our library. We haven’t been able to remove it and include a different picture. We have succeeded in choosing an avatar shown next to each user name on the forum, but a different one shows up when you click on the profile. Thanks for any help.
replacing WP comments with bbPress threads
Published on April 10th, 2014 by AsynapticI’m a bit baffled as to why this 3 month old ticket is sitting here all lonely:
https://bbpress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/2498
bbPress.org and buddypress.org both have this functionality so the devs already have this one figured out. Right?
There’s also this plugin which provides the same functionality:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress-post-topics/
which can be integrated into core following the wordpress development model of features as plugins.
Unless I’m off my rocker again, and missing something… in which case please take pity on me and set me straight!
