Hi! I have problem in bbpress forum, we have bbpress forum on our page on this link https://bmedic-online.cz/diskuzni_fora/. You can see whole forum, but in individual categories you have no access, but when you click “Biologie” or “Chemie” it announces you that you have no privilege. Every category works, but “Fyzika” doesnt. Even if you try to enter “Fyzika”, none announcement appear. I am including screenshots of it. On screenshots on “forum.png” you can see whole forum, and when i click on category “Chemie” and “Biologie” it forwards to forum depicted on screen “chemie_forum.png” and “biologie_forum.png”. But when i click on “Fyzika” category, nothing shows up, and it is interesting that icons in admin panel dont show up (in red rectangle on “fyzika_forum.png”).
I dont understand what happend, nobody changed anything.
bbpress version is updated to newest, and wordpress is 5.9.
Link to google drive for screens is here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fKEU15U9GzHaC9KwXJ_XhGe8mSI7HVeC?usp=sharing
Can somebody help me?

I work with avada theme. Users can login and then they have more content. What I need is a forum and a chat for the users to cummunicate with all or private. Is this possible with BBPress ? And is it possible that forum and chat don’t need a seperate login because they are alerady logged in as a member from the site ?
Thanks !

For permission:
- Admin can create Forums and Topics
- Users(participants) can create Posts only (reply in Topics)

This may be more of a request for Elementor, but I thought I try and see if someone figured this out.
From this topic here: https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/bbpress-elementor/
I was able to make Elementor work on forum index, forums and the list of topics inside those, but not for single topic (those you can reply on). Technically those must be posts and post comments.
It’s not entirely essential, but would be great if there was a way to do this. I use a barebones theme (_s) and the theme parts themselves are built with Elementor’s theme builder and custom CSS. So without a template for single topics I’m unable to get a header or a sidebar on those.
Thanks in advance!

Sorry in advance to what seems like a basic question, I just can’t find anything or the app name for some reason.
Is there an app for bbpress to use on mobile? So my forum users can just login via mobile and reply in the app?
I’ve googled and not been able to find anything, not anything recent.

Hi,
Can you please help me:
1. Make the topic title box full width;
2. Hide the topic description box on topic submission form;
3. Make the topic tag box full width;
4. Make the submit button full width with background color set to #c70000 and text color #ffffff
Here is a screenshot of what I exactly need: https://prnt.sc/em8Khe5pOfEU

if edit the reply in full, the admin must first get to the page like /forums/reply/111111/edit/ and only then move to full editing in the backend /wp-admin/post.php?post=111111&action=edit.
Is there a recipe for the administrator (keymaster) to be immediately transferred to the backend? The redirect can be configured using regular expressions, but then ordinary users will be without editing reply (the backend is closed).
How can I do this using functions.php ?

I have a problem with bbpress forums at https://swift.ayrshirealba.org.
I’ve trying to get forums set up, and they work on my local development machine.
When I then deploy the site, the forums don’t work. Once logged on the user is presented with a ‘Nothing here’ message when they try to access the forum.
Mysteriously, after a couple of days, the forums start to work. No changes on my part, no changes at the host, just the passage of time…
I’ve checked with tech support for my hosting (SiteGround), and they can’t see any errors in the database or the site set-up. I’ve disabled all other plugins.
SiteGround think it’s a problem with BbPress. I’ve searched the forums, and I can’t find anyone else with the same problem.
I’m using SiteGround’s staging system do deploy the site. I’m on to staging 46. Maybe that gives you a clue to how much this is bugging me!
Anyway, thanks in advance for any help!

Hello, buddies. I hope everyone is doing well. I’m posting this because there’s a need for it. On my Windows 10 PC, the “bbpress 2.6.6” installation always fails with a “problem opening file for writing” notice. I have no idea why this is taking place or how to resolve the problem. I tried my hardest to solve the problem using the advice in this article (such as performing a new install after restarting the computer, disabling the antivirus software, etc.), but I was unable to do so. Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings
I set up a test forum and created a private category with two sub-forums inside. On forum index the category is shown with its two sub-forums listed below it, as intended.
Once I post a topic in one of the sub-forums the list disappears below the category on forum index. I can still see them if I click on the category however.
It’s similar to this bug here, but it doesn’t seem to matter if there’s a description or not
https://bbpress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/2085
The bug only happen when the category is private or hidden. Should I do a bug report about it? Is there any known solutions?
WordPress: 6.0
Plugins: bbPress 2.6.9
Theme: Tried various WordPress default themes.
Thank you in advance
