But hope you can help me with a little problem. If I access the forums normally styles are ok, but when I show the forums via shortcodes like

Sorry to all aft you if this seems stupid but i really cannot figure it out. I would like to create my new forum with bbpress. I want to divide my forum in category and it has to look like my old one:

How can i have forum with a category on top and the forum on the button like on my old one. So on the main page i can see al the category and all the forums in each?

I have set up a new forum.
My intention is that there will be a private forum that will only be available to Board Members.
I can give all the users who I wish to have access to this forum the bbPress role of Keymaster.
However, that doesn’t help as it seems that any Participant can see this private forum.
I read about and installed the plugin bbPressAdvancedCapabilities.
I see that this will allow me to change any Participant so that they cannot view Private forums.
QUESTION: Does this mean I would have to manually edit each new Participant? That’s not an acceptable approach.
How can I automate this so that this private forum is not open to anyone except Keymasters?

I am in the process of importing my current phpbb forum to bbPress. Most of the data seems to have migrated but Convert reply_to parents failed. So any topic with multiple pages is not formatting correctly or is missing posts.
According to the sources the migration script does the following steps:
STEP 1. Clean all tables.
STEP 2. Convert users.
STEP 3. Clean passwords.
STEP 4. Convert forums.
STEP 5. Convert forum parents.
STEP 6. Convert topics.
STEP 7. Stick topics.
STEP 8. Stick to front topics (Super Sicky).
STEP 9. Convert tags.
STEP 10. Convert replies.
STEP 11. Convert reply_to parents.
The steps from 1 through 10 were successful. Migration script failed on the 11th step.

The phpbb forums where resynchronized prior to import.
Being imported to WP 3.9 on testing server with new theme.

When using checkboxes in the login widget in the sidebar (#sidebar) for the “Remember me”, the label is after the checkbox and due to css setting labels at 70px, it breaks the line to
[] Remember
me
Can you increase it to a higher value to cover most text snippets, perhaps 85px?
I know I can override it with my themes, but it is better when you get a good baseline out of the box.

Hi,
I just installed a new bbpress form as plugin with wordpress theme named Dicovery. Somehow it is not working. On the main page once I logged in as any user I can’t see any place to start a new discussion or comment. It seems that only admin can create a new discussion.
Also, when I try to log in using my admin account and try to create a new topic, I am not able to select the Discussion group/category, it seems that it is disable somehow.
Can anyone please help me rectifying this.

Just curious…starting a new project soon and am holding off til its out.
Just installed bbPress for the first time and followed the installation guide, but the layout of the forum does not look right. Is this a template issue or css? Any help would be appreciated.

I’m new here and recently set up new bbpress site for our service.
And I wanna know some BBPress activity monitor plugin/possibility/function or anything that similar to Facebook.
Lets say, I wanna know what exactly happened last days or after my last checked/logged in date. Like how many new topics created and how many new replies received and how my collaborations signed them and changed their status as closed or resolved.
Any information and knowledge would be awesome and highly appreciated. Thanks
