I am using a themeforest theme with BBpress integrated.

Previously it was working perfectly fine but since I updated to the last version it doesn’t anymore. The theme automatically updated the style and color to match the forum to the website.

However since I made that update I have got 2 problems.

If I choose the layout theme COMBAT it’s all grey and takes up 2 lines instead of one.

If I choose the layout theme TWENTY ONE it looks like it should be however it is not well aligned on the website. It’s takes the full width of the browser and everything is all messed up and everywhere in the page.

Please how can I fix it?

Yeah, it eventually recounted and disappeared, but I think the fact that it shows at all is a bug.

Have you tried recounting/repair the forums via /wp-admin/tools.php?page=bbp-repair

After I deleted a topic from my forum, the “last updated by” alert at the top of the topics listing page says “and was last updated by Halle No Topics.”

Although “Halle No Topics” makes a pretty badass mob name, I think this is a display bug .

I updated to 2.1–and am getting

everywhere! How can I revert to the previous version as soon as possible?

The sequence to tag bbPress to the WordPress plugins repo is a bit wonky, so you probably got an out-of-date zip.

I just tested it now, and it appears to be fine.

I updated within BuddyPress the bbpress plugin v2.0.3 to v2.1 for three times but your plugin says to update again – did you forget to update the version number?

The easiest way is with using FTP.

-Download the RC package and unpack it locally.

-Delete the content of the /wp-content/plugins/bbpress/ folder.

-Upload the files into the /bbpress/ folder.

A regular upgrade does this automatically (or very similarly), so it shouldn’t break anything.

If all the files have been updated, you’ll be able to see in the Dashboard that you’re got the new version.

Please backup your database and remember to disable the plugin before removing and replacing the files. (Although I never do this, it is good practice…)

Hi I am new to bbPress, I installed it last week, it was working fine.

But it is not working recently, I don’t even know since when, may be after I updated the bbPress Plugin to 2.0.3

All I want is just putting the [bbp-forum-index] in a WordPress page, so it can show all forum, topic and replies.

Now once I click to the forum that I have been set up, it don’t show any topic or replies.

I’m having the same error but not after upgrading anything.

It worked just fine this morning, throughout the day I installed and uninstalled various plugins (after testing their features and feeling unsatisfied). My site has the same plugins set as this morning, same bbPress and WordPress versions, no other plugin has been updated, but now when I’m trying to reach the main bbpress forums page, I have this error message.

“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/users5/a/asceeceteo/www/wordpress/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 137”

In my profile page bbpress states:

“This is how your profile appears to a logged in member.”

<b>You don’t have to be logged in to see a user profile page.</b> I’ve tried this with other member names in the forums in different browsers with cleared out caches. You can see any member profile with the direct URL: http://bbpress.org/forums/profile/username (Try this with any valid user name)

(Could it be that this security hole causes a lot of spam attacks?)

On my site, until I did some tweaking with a membership plugin you could not only access the bbpress profile, but also edit the user profile, change the password, whatever. Now that this is more secure I can give an example:

I want to redirect author links to a custom bbpress profile page with proper site styles applied and separate the user profile from the bbpress profile.

How can that be done? Can you point me to the code I need to use? I could really use some help with this. I’ve posted on this matter in another topic, which had no response, because I may not have described the problem properly. Using WP 3.4 with updated Twenty Eleven theme. Please advise.

I was in the same situation. Using twentyeleven with WP 3.4. Get the twentyeleven extension where you can add a sidebar to all pages easily.

And how to edit the description of the reply page ( This topic has x voice, contains x replies, and was last updated by… ), because i want to remove “x voices”.

I just updated to the latest WordPress and also the newest bbPress plugin. It broke my custom theme so I went to the stock TwentyEleven theme with no modifications to bbPress.

All is OK (working) – except that I have no sidebar on my /Forums page. How can I add that so that my widgets show up? Must be simple but I just can’t seem to figure it out.
