    I have that option as the first in my dropdown list as well, but if you click the button to see all posts that are not resolved, I think you will find that even though that option is first in the list, by default, none of the options are exercised and it should be still unresolved.

    If you mean adding forum as WP page, maybe check out:

    https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/166?replies=6

    As well, do a search in the wordpress.org forums because I am sure there is more examples in that forums.

    Do you have a URL or an example? I am unfamiliar with each language file. Is the formatting in CSS sheet and template files translated as well, or just the main language parts of site and admin area?

    This must happen on a topic with replies right? All topics are listed on front-page.php and formatting in a post wouldn’t change that page. Almost all pages are listed with titles only, so you must be referring to topics page? Is that correct or is there something more?

    As well, do you have an example?

    By default, all topics are marked as unresolved unless you have manually set them as ‘not support question’ or ‘resolved’. Do you mean the dropdown list? If that is the case, they are not part of the template system (might change in future), but are listed in:

    /bb-includes/template-functions.php/

    /bb-includes/functions.php

    I think you can find what you are looking for in there, but as I said, topics are unresolved by default.

    so10 has been working on getting more admin options that pull out of the database so that plugins will work well with the admin. That re-structuring is part of the lack of admin options for now.

    I am not using permalinks, but google has indexed me and that happened in about 3 days. This even after changing from blog.trentadams.ca/forums back to forum.trentadams.ca

    Zeug has some interest in getting his anarchy plugin for bbPress. Here is what I have come across lately:

    Currently, bbPress doesn’t have any facilities for downloading templates, but if you search through this forum, I believe there are a couple of users that have released some templates for download.

    In the meantime, you can check out the following for doing some templates of your own:

    https://bbpress.org/documentation/customization/

    The goal in later versions of bbPress is to integrate a template system much like WP and possibly even have the ability to use WP templates, but that is not in the immediate future.

    Sounds strange, but compare all the files you have in my-templates/ versus what is in bb-templates/ as a reference. That would be the best advise. Let us know if you figure it out as reference for future potential problems. Good luck!

    Personally, I have had issues with this as well. I would suggest creating a .htaccess file and place it in your bbpress root directory and only adding the following to it:

    Options +MultiViews

    That seems to work for most people. Try that first maybe? If not, maybe check what format you have in your WP .htaccess and try a combination of either the previous code or what rewrite-rules.php spits out for you.

    Thanks,

    You have permalinks set to true in the config.php, yet your .htaccess doesn’t know what to do with it, hense the errors.

    Take a look at:

    You should be able to change your style.css to reflect how you want your blockquote to work. I changed mine and see no problems with it. Take a look at:

    http://forum.trentadams.ca/topic.php?id=313&replies=1#post-483

    Used:

    blockquote {

    border-left: 1px solid #c00;

    border-right: 1px solid #c00;

    border-top: 1px solid #c00;

    border-bottom: 1px solid #c00;

    background: #fff;

    width: 300px;

    margin-left: 1.5em;

    padding: 5 5 5 5px;

    }

    Is that what you mean or could you give an example?

    The new working version for integrated with WP and non-integrated sites will be updated in a couple of minutes! It should work for everyone now, but Ardentfrost could use a few more testers! If you are interested, just download it at:

    I would change the timezone to reflect the server and not yourself so that freshness is right relative to the server. Until a fix comes, it makes the most sense because bbPress config.php timezone was setup for the server and not the users.

    It is something that we need to visit in future versions or with plugins, but the freshness issue throws users for a loop!

    This works on front-page.php:

    <a href="<?php user_profile_link($topic->topic_last_poster) ?>"><?php topic_last_poster(); ?></a>

    The easiest thing to do would be to find any site (WP or otherwise) that has 3 columns and take a look at the CSS to find out how they went about doing it.

    Yup! Sorry you didn’t see my message quicker. Right now, that seems to be the only way to add multiple word tags….after the post is created. I can be done though, it would just require a plugin I think.
