In reply to: Plugin: bbPress Mobile Edition
It would seem that this is going to need some testing!
Could everyone try this out if you can and report back? It would be good to test my blog as well (so we can see if one works and one doesn’t).

I use a Treo 700 Smartphone, so it might have a little better browser than most….

In reply to: Instead of bridging the forum …With the integration instructions and plugins, it is more difficult, but already done without any other hacks to core or database.

In reply to: How do you report a bug with trac? You can login to trac using a login from wordpress.org as that is the only login system. Once logged in, then you will see the link for submission.

In reply to: Use the possibilities of the WP plugins …Not very had to write plugins if you are a coder and look at pluggable.php as it uses a similar structure as WordPress. Right out of the box, bbPress may never work straight away with WP plugins without a core change in code.

In reply to: Plugin – Memberlist *UPDATE*Does this version have our modification for deleting users in WP if integrated?

In reply to: bb code?I would imagine that this will not occur in the core code. This is something that can be added through a plugin (as with image plugin) and will be worked on by members of this community as time progresses. It shouldn’t be too long for something like this to surface, but it will take a little time.

In reply to: Use the possibilities of the WP plugins …Rod,
Right now, the integration with wordpress is strictly login related. The plugins for WordPress currently do not work with bbPress because of the differences in how they work with the system. I have requested the YouTube plugin for bbPress from the author of the Anarchy Media Plugin for WP and I hope this gets out there soon! Plugins don’t take too much to convert over to bbPress, but they still have to be converted to work with the system.

In reply to: Plugin – Private Messagesmessage.php is the main one. That is where you would hardcode it.

In reply to: Plugin: Warn usersSo this plugin allows admins and mods to place a warning on a user to let them know that they did something wrong? Is that about right?

In reply to: bbPress PDA Edition PluginIf someone can help me with the code to call the right browser in a plugin, then I will work on the templates needed to show up in the browser. It is just the plugin code and calling /mytemplates/mobile/ for the templates that would be difficult for me!

In reply to: Plugin – Private MessagesArdentfrost, do you have a wicked .htaccess file or use bad behavior?

In reply to: Plugin: [REL] SignatureLooks good! I hope you don’t mind, but I am changing your title to have the word plugin in it as well for easy viewing!

In reply to: smf to bbpressNothing that is written yet to my knowledge. Does SMF go over to phpBB format? If it does export to that, then you can use:

Hope that helps.

In reply to: I cannot set BBLANG without errorIn terms of integrating site with calling WP functions, it is a little out of my realm. If you search this site and can’t find anything useful, you can always head over to the forums with massive information!

In reply to: LyceumLyceum is built on WP right. Almost the same as WP MU. I would look over the documentation of integrating with WP and WP MU and you might find it isn’t as bad as you think as it will use a similar cookie system.

In reply to: New Template (4 download if u want)Looks good! Thanks for sharing! The more templates the better!

In reply to: bbPress.org forum template bugThat is actually the way it is supposed to be with this template and the default template. It can be changed around by changing the code in front-page.php. I moved it inside for my site, but that is the way I believe it is supposed to be.

In reply to: Not Resolved by DefaultRyan, I stand corrected. I have bbpress-post which makes the topics unresolved by default, but any topic created in the forum is marked as mu (not support question). That is not telling you anything new beause you already knew this
I have created an enhancement ticket in TRAC. Thanks for pointing that out.
