Yeah, I did. Anyway, I’m not gonna rush this. I’m gonna leave it up to the BBpress creators to work on Facebook connectivity for future versions.
Though as a user, it seems Facebook is more and more becoming a starting point for everyone, and can be a starting point for everything. “Log in with Facebook” can become a really powerfull tool, and so everything should work more with Facebooks several features, like groups and stuff.

Kawuso, that seemed like something I could use. But it didnt work. I entered the group ID, and it didnt find it.
Yeah, since I’m coworking with the FB group, that would help users from that group engage in discussions on my forum. And it would work both ways.
Ultimately, it would be great if a discussion could be shared between Facebook and BBpress.
Lets say a user starts a discussion on my board, it also opens up the same discussion on Facebook. So when another user either on the forum or in Facebook replies, it appears in both BBpress and the Facebook thread. A sort of shared discussion.
Facebook connect already works with Digg. I use it all the time.
Cursing is not a problem. Can I turn off this? I just want to select certain words I do not want spoken. People can curse all they want.

Have you seen how Ipboard features users at the bottom of a forum? And some of them have “most users ever online was”. I want something like that.
Basically to show off how many users my forum have. It’s a mental thing. To create awareness that theres a certain number of people involved in this forum that each person uses.
BBpress has worked out good so far. So I’m not buying that summary.
Several plugins works just by drag and drop, and thats how I like it, thats how it should be. Anything else can stay away from me.
Or just make the Plugin easier to install for people like me? Afterall, why should it be hard.

Nightgunner5, I just created a folder called “avatars” in the forum-root. And it did not work.
I will not touch the properties around writability and stuff. Simply because the last time I did this to any file, the whole thing went down the drain. Like a black hole, sucking everything around it in and crushing it.
Oh I would definitly follow his instructions, if I hadn’t tried this procedure already. Do you want me to crash my entire database just I can be a good forum member on here? I don’t think so.
If this is the only way to solve the problem, then I suppose I’m gonna have to settle for the fact that it won’t work.
Oh no no no. I tried that once, and my entire forum crashed completely down. I had to reinstall it, and delete the database and create a new one. Never doing that again, EVER.
Seems I’m just gonna have to wait for updates then. Hopefully they can be updated from inside the adminpanel, and give me a notice just like WordPress does.

And again, no clue about permissions here, I upload via Windows Explorer, not gonna download some fancy shit ftp program.
I’ve disabled all non-working plugins, but I can’t disable working ones. I’ve actually launched the forum for public use now, so I can’t mess around too much.
