In reply to: bbPress 2.0 – UpdatesDiscovered a new bug, it appears that all replies are getting the same topic as parent. I don’t think that this was the case before, but not 100% sure.
EDIT: So here’s the thing. When migrating from standalone I can’t access replies, only if I write a new reply can I access it.
But the problem is when writing this new reply, all other replies gets the same topic as the new one I wrote.
Don’t know if this is an issue with the migration script or if it’s something with bbpress plugin, I will cross-link this to the other forum topic.
In reply to: bbPress 2.0 – UpdatesI still get internal server errors, also the same problem with replies, they are not visible in the forums unless i edit and update each.
In reply to: bbPress 2.0 – UpdatesOk no problem, happy to help:) By that, do you also know why the replies aren’t coming up unless i edit each reply and hit update?
Or is that more a migration issue?
In reply to: bbPress Standalone to Plugin Converter Beta 2During migration something is missing, the permalinks in replies contains the original title, which makes them unusable.
I tried running a mass edit on all replies but that did not work. strangely, only when editing a reply manually did it work.

In reply to: bbPress 2.0 – UpdatesSome feedback (All errors in the backend):
– Pagination returns internal server error for replies.
– I cannot filter by topics in replies, works fine in topics.
– Date filtering also returns internal server error.
– Search replies also returns internal server error.
I did change the view on replies to list all of them, then i mass edited forcing the permalinks to get updated, that did not work.
But it works when editing each reply manually.
In reply to: bbPress 2.0 – UpdatesLooking great! Still not able to pick up replies when viewing, they come up fine in the backend though.
EDIT: Just figured out why replies aren’t showing up, it’s because the permalinks contains the title, in this case it came up with spaces.
Any way to automatically convert all replies with usable permalinks?
Never mind, I just ran bulk edit and then hit the update button and voila, new permalinks:)
In reply to: bbPress 2.0 – UpdatesOne thing regarding themeing. It would be awesome if we could use all default templates, but exclude the css only.
In reply to: bbPress 2.0 – UpdatesI went ahead and installed the plugin, also migrated from a standalone forum, it’s looking pretty good but I get a Internal Sever Error when visiting Replies, anyone else have this problem?
Also, none of the replies comes up in any topics, is this a migration issue or is it just that the code isn’t finished?
In reply to: bbPress 1.0 releasedAwesome work guys, this is really great!
In reply to: bbPress 1.0 Release Candidate 1@mortiferus, yes that worked for me, however you’d still need:
define(‘COOKIE_DOMAIN’, ‘.domain.org’);
define(‘COOKIEPATH’, ‘/’);
in wp-config.php
AFAIK.
In reply to: List of Plugins that work on RC1/RC2Members Online *(except that the link to a member profile doesn’t work, don’t know if it’s related to permalinks or not, haven’t had time to investigate).
In reply to: bbPress 1.0 Release Candidate 1sweet, thanks!
In reply to: bbPress 1.0 Release Candidate 1ok. Strange, integration doesn’t work for me any longer.
I have:
define(‘COOKIE_DOMAIN’, ‘.domain.org’);
define(‘COOKIEPATH’, ‘/’);
in both bb-config.php and wp-config.php since that was how i had it before.
I also have re-checked that the keys are matching in bb-config.php and wp-config.php and that the keys matches in the backend configuration. I have nothing special in either of the .htaccess files, other than permalink setup.
In reply to: bbPress 1.0 Release Candidate 1Does this release still require bbPress Integration plugin for WordPress?
In reply to: bbPress 1.0-alpha-4 releasedGreat, integration is working!
Turns out i had a configuration problem, entirely my own fault.
In reply to: bbPress 1.0-alpha-4 releasedThink I have that prefix issue aswell, is this fixed?
In reply to: 1.0a2 + 2.6x cookies: so close!Hm, turns out I still have trouble accessing admin panel in bbpress. Straange, I tested it with login via both bbpress and wp the last time, however now, it doesn’t seem to work.
Regarding the setup, i followed Deadpan’s setup down to the very last line, except that i kept the hash in
$bb->logged_in_cookie = ‘wordpress_logged_in_ikeptthishashin’;
In reply to: 1.0a2 + 2.6x cookies: so close!Yeah, 2.6.3 and 1.0.2a
In reply to: 1.0a2 + 2.6x cookies: so close!Deadpan11 , I followed your guide and it worked excellent, however I had to keep the hash on:
$bb->logged_in_cookie = ‘wordpress_logged_in_’;
Setup, http://forums.domain.com & http://domain.com
I can now log in via the forums, and access both admin panels, and via wp, and still access both. If I log out of either, I am logged out of both.
