I’ve got a forum running on http://klanwerk.de
Everything fine, so far.
But when I activate Buddypress, the search is somehow overriden.
Gives no results, is loading, but stays on the same page, without anything.
With BP deactivated, everything is fine.
Theme is Spacious, but same thing with Twentytwelve.
WP, BBP, BP, Spacious are all up to date.
Any idea?

Tonight all the avatars on my site – http://www.pcmdanmark.dk/ – just decided to disappear. I didn’t do anything. Didn’t install a plugin or anything – but they were just gone. When I tried to upload a new avatar, it said that it could not create a new folder in the upload-folder, but everything have the right permissions. Also the former avatars IS on the FTP/server – they just doesn’t display
The “Forums” tab in the dashboard is refusing to show, due to the fact I am no longer a keymaster because of an administrator accidentally deleting my profile from my site. So, now that I have my account back, it can only be set to administrator at the highest. I need to be a keymaster to see the forums tab, and without the forums tab I can’t run the repair tools. I tried user role editor but it isn’t working. What do you suppose I should do?
Is there a way that only keymasters or moderators can make different topics sticky or super sticky? I dont want random participant users on my forums making everything sticky and super sticky I only want my moderators to do that. Thanks.

Love the pluggin and it was working fine on my website (http://www.spirulinaacademy.com/forum/) until a couple of weeks ago when I “lost” the possibility to login.
The readers can’t login anymore to post on the forum.
Tried to fix it myself for the past few weeks but haven’t been successful. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I use the latest version of BBpress – Version 2.5.7 with the theme Renden – WP Version 4.2.2

Some of my members are complaining they don’t always get notified of new posts to top level forums. Is there any way to check to see if they really are subscribed to the top level forums?

I have BuddyPress + bbPress installed together.
I have a BuddyPress private group which have a private forum and several private sub-forums. The problem I have is regular members (with participant permissions) can’t access to the sub-forums of the group forum because it takes moderator permissions to see private topics and replies. And sub-forums are not mapped with the group.
All I want to do is a read-only/read-write forum : non members of the group can see the forum, sub-forums, topics, and replies, but only members can post replies and topics. I have looked for a plugin or a hack for 5 days, no solution.
As a quick fix, I set the sub-forums as public, but now everyone can post a topic and a reply, which is bad.
I also tried to give to participants read permissions on private topics, it worked on other private forums, but not on the group sub-forums.
I tested almost all memberships/roles/capabilities plugins available nowadays for the latest WP… I even took a look on bbpress and buddypress hooks but their documentation are still uncomplete for developpers.
So please, have you some hints ?

I need to change the table header “Forum” to “Index”, searched for a while but didnt found any fix yet.

Wanted to suggest a feature to the bbPress community, would love to see the ability for a keymaster or moderator to be able to copy/duplicate a topic into another forum. I would find this especially helpful with my bbPress+Buddypress set-up which has users silo’d into Group Forums depending on what course/product they’ve purchased on my site.
Happy to discuss if the community is interested in implementing this into bbPress or as a plugin.
