I got someone to create a plugin to post posts onto the forum, but it never recognizes the users, so voice count stays 1 even though 10 people have messaged.

Repair tool helps – so I was thinking of making it auto-repair using the repair tool, so it stays accurate.

Would this have any negative impact on any other area if the repair tool is used like once or twice a day?

I have BBPress and BBPress Notify plugins. Below are my issues.

1. I want to Move Forum “Subscribe” button to the right. It is coming just after name of forum page.
2. I want to disable topic subscription. Only Forum subscription required. Is there any way to do it.

Kindly help me with some solution.

I want to remove the voices column, it never updates when I want it to, and I am getting tired of trying to figure it out.

Can someone help me remove this in a neat way – ive tried editing the following:

but it just removes the posts column as well. and I dont want that.

Obvious newbie, so thanks for any help.
Here is my first problem. When I click on the forums tile it goes to page not found.
When I try to create a page called forums with the forums slug, it renames itself to forums-2 or forums-3. To me this means forums already exists, but I cannot see it in my pages list.

Also, I need a easy to read guide? Any suggestions?

Can anyone spot the obvious mistake here?

I’ve emptied the cache and refreshed the page, makes no difference – freshness column says No Topics even though the other columns confirm there is, in fact, a topic there.

In bbpress,I use <?php bbp_topic_excerpt() ?> to show the excerpt,but it can’t show the picture in the topic,how can I do that? Please hele me.

I have full permissions on my account as the admin. I am trying to merge one topic with another. It all looks like it is going well until I find that there is no way to submit the change. There is no submit button or anything like it. I can choose which topic I would like to merge it with but that is it. See attached photo

Hi all,

Already a couple of times, the freshness column on my forums got scrambled when I moved topics around. The issue resolved itself temporarily when I upgraded to 2.5.8-5815.

But when I moved other misplaced topics, same thing again.

I’ve tried everything, from using the repair tools, one by one, multiple times, to deactivating all other plugins. I’m on shared hosting with godaddy, so clearing the cache is impossible. I did, however, stop all php proceses, which they claim to be as effective as “they don’t really store any cache” (?).

I even installed the 2.6 alpha, much to the same result.

PS. My forum is behind a paywall and Wishlist Member, so hard to show you…

At first, I thought this was a redirect issue because when someone was replying to some topics, the redirect URL was stripping out the pagination (in some cases).

For example, getting to the end of a topic with the following URI:

/forums/topic/name-of-topic/page/155/

The redirect after submitting a reply was:

/forums/topic/name-of-topic/#post-599473

So basically, the pagination slugs seem to have been stripped. As a result, the poster is directed back to the first page of the topic.

However, I’ve also noticed that this is an issue with links on the activity stream, too.

For example, the timestamp for one specific reply that appears in the activity feed has the link:

/forums/topic/name-of-topic/#post-610386

Yet, the link should be:

/forums/topic/name-of-topic/page/156/#post-610386

So I think there may be a hyperlinking issue on topics that have a high number of pages?

Another idea – the name of the topic in this specific case is very long. Maybe the length of the URL is an issue? However, if it is I don’t know why it would be stripping the pagination slugs out of the links.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have bbpress activated on two our of three sites on multisite.

On the second site, bbpress login widget shows login but it does not show register. Registration is enabled from the network settings for the whole network. Anyone can help with this?

I need the widget to show register and log in.
