I made some updates to my forums last night and they looked fine when viewing them in my browser from home (Firefox 2). However, here at work (IE6) all the text is blue!

What gives?

I am running a gaming community’s web site. Currently I just have bbPress forums up there while I build up the rest of the site’s content. What I needed is Private Forums!

I know there is a plugin for Private Forums. However, it just restricts based on the three default groups (Members, Moderators and Admins) … this does not do me any good since I need to give access only to the members of the actual group, not just the forum. Is there anything out there to help me?

Alright, I will fully admit I am a complete newbie to RSS feeds and while I’m trying to learn more… I have a weird error I think.

When you have an active RSS feed on my forums it just shows a page with a white background and expandable/collasping script.

Help a brother out!

Your advice please.

I have no knowledge of php, but some html and css. I managed to set up the forum and it works fine, but when it comes to Akismet I have a problem.

I have placed it in the plugin folder. When I go to Site Management to activate it, I have the warning “Plugin could not be activated; it produced a Fatal Error.”

I have three other plugins which I have deactivated and still the same message.

The API number has been placed on the config file as required.

It is not integrated with WP.

Any suggestions?

Basically, when I post a formatted link like ‘link here‘ it gets wiped out and instead bbpress saves ‘link here‘ What could be going on?
