Hi,
In the latest version of BBPress, are the user roles/permissions well intergrated with the WP roles/permissions.. ?
Curious of bbPress will eventually support the idea of tapping into BuddyPress’s site-wide.css file located in the active BuddyPress theme directory?
I realize this would take a little bit of hard coded style foresight, and it might even be better set as a plugin for bbPress, but I think it would be a nice little added touch.
Thoughts?
I m a pretty newbie to the templates. Just started toying with php/stylesheets ect.. and just had a few quick questions:
1. Where in the stylesheets if at all can you enlarge the LOGIN and PASSWORD prompts? Can seem to find those. Also, I would like to stretch the page width over the background.
2. Could someone recomend somthing for working with themes and stylesheets in linux?
thanks,
coffee
This is my first jump into bbPress and to be honest, I like the included template. So, I went ahead and used the included and am in the process of modifying it so it fits my needs.
Grayline bbPress Forum is for my automotive blog The-Grayline.com, so the theme is slightly modified to mimic my wordpress blog.

CARP Feed Parser for Updates on Blog in Lower Corner
Swapped Latest Posts w/ Forum Sections
The RSS feed for the blog in the bottom right has been floated to the right, so that when logged in the visitors information is displayed to the left and it all looks pretty. Please let me know what you guys think.
The title might get you a little it confused. What i was trying to say was; how do i integrate my entire wordpress forum into my wordpress theme… i made an example image below

(forgot to add the footer on the image..)
So is there any way to do this? I noticed there is a “WordPress Integration” thing in the settings, but thats not what i’m looking for, right? That will just “transfer” members right?
I had some trouble with installing bbpress before, i couldn’t login as admin. I played around a bit with it and then i found out that i had to change the settings in “bb-config-sample.php”. I’ts a really good forum, i like it.
Thanks.

Hi: is it possible to insert images into posts in bbPress? I am looking at the post create & edit screen, it seems to only have plain text.
Our church just started our own forum and I’m learning as I go here.
First issue: One user registered twice and wants to delete one account. When I clicked on edit on their account, I got a 404 user/data page not found error, so I can’t delete it
Second issue: Is there a plugin or another moethod for a user to change passwords when they log in with the weird password they automatically get?
I really appreciate any advice
I am looking around at foum software.
My main priorities are:
Must be able to use adsense with it
Must be highly customisable
Can adsense be used with bbpress?
Thanks

Just some forums for my private (german) blog. Fully integrated in WP-Theme.
Feedback would be nice
I just wanted to share the experience I have gathered while working, designing and pushing bbPress so as to not look like a generic bbPress instance. My latest work are these forums (the rest of the site is WordPress), and if you have the time please consider registering to be able to play a bit with the design from a member-perspective (enjoyed better in Safari). I would appreciate your feedback.
I am really captivated by the possibilities bbPress offers; but I also feel the obscurity of these possibilities are somehow hindering proper development in the design department. The lack of a proper and exhaustive codex, readable for theme authors —without having to dig into core files—, remains as the biggest obstacle. I am all for contributing, should it be possible, in this way or another.
