If anyone has got one working with latest versions of bbpress, please share. Also any special steps or alterations needed to get it to work? Key features would be a user report option and ability for moderator ban or block.
Thank you.

Akismet has always worked well for me, but I just noticed that since upgrading last night I have about 10 spam registrations. Something seems to have changed to make registration easier. I found a plugin to approve registration but it seems outdated and doesn’t work with 1.2
Any other ideas for keeping these spam registrations out?
Using the Inove theme:

I want convert from vanilla to bbpress
http://getvanilla.com/
The style changes I’ve made are mostly color to match blog.
All is fine except .alt background color remains white in IE
Color looks perfect in Firefox.
Is there a way to force IE to show the desired color?
Hi
I have just registered as I am looking to add a forum to my wordpress website and need some basic advice.
I have read a number of posts on the subject and also the installation instructions, integration instructions and FAQ’s and I am getting very confused.
I guess I need to know where in my directory I install the bbPress. Do I have to install it in the root file, or in one of the WP files? My problem is that I have a number of websites, each using a different install of wordpress as the basis of the website, within my root file.
Will an installation of bbPress at root level affect all of the websites?
Or do I install bbPress in one of the WP folders relevant to the specific website?
How do I create a link from the specific website – do I simply create a new page on the blog called “Forum” and use the url address for the page within the bbPress installation at some point. I guess this might become clear to me as I progress with the installation, but not knowing where to put the installation at this stage I am unaware, so a heads up of what to expect will help.
Thanks.
Is it possible to make a forum admin-posts only for, for example, system announcements for a website?
Thank you!
When I login to admin I get this:
Warning: Division by zero in /nfs/c05/h02/mnt/73461/domains/forum.massivemouse.com/html/bb-includes/functions.bb-statistics.php on line 214

Everything seems to still work, so not sure what this means. Help?
Can you bring back a previous version 0.9 of a admin management the forum is 1 year old text etc.?
Hello
I have installed bbPress 1.0.2 today here:
http://www.newlondonsingers.org.uk/blog/wp-content/bbpress
Step 1 & 2 of the install did not have any errors, but step 3 said could not create Forum
I selected options to integrate WordPress (v 2.6.3) which is here
http://www.newlondonsingers.org.uk/blog/
I also have the plugin Members-only installed (v 0.6.7)
Am using PHP 4 and MSSQL 4.1.22
I can’t access bbPress – assume I go to :
http://www.newlondonsingers.org.uk/blog/wp-content/bbpress
which then goes to here: http://www.newlondonsingers.org.uk/blog/wp-content/bbpress/bb-admin/install.php
– says Oh dear!
bbPress is already installed.
Perhaps you meant to run the upgrade script instead?
Please can you help?
Many thanks
