Hi, I am having problems with the Instant Password ( https://bbpress.org/plugins/topic/instant-password/ ) plugin. It seems that visitors cant register, while I (admin) can manually register them with the plugin.

A common error is “Your password is too short” saying its less then 6 characters when its at least 8 or more.

Just like the title says, there doesn’t appear to be any CSS in my admin dashboard. I’ve went through and reuploaded the appropriate files, but still it’s broken, like no CSS elements. The actual links, settings, files, etc are there, just no CSS to make it easy on the eyes or organized.

I’ve done some searches on Google and on these forum and I cannot seem to find the exact problem I’m having. I have updated my .htaccess, config file, etc. I’m not sure what else to try.

I have <?php bb_tag_heat_map( 9, 38, ‘pt’, 80 ); ?> in my tag.php file. Still I can only see 40 tags max in the heat map. Am I supposed to change “80” somewhere else too? Maybe in the function? Where do I find the function below? Got it from another topic.

Thought I’d try wordpressMU and bbpress. Found a nice little how to guide (http://theeasybutton.com/blog/2009/07/17/integrating-buddypress-wordpress-mu-and-bbpress/) followed it to the letter. I get to “21. Log in as admin. Click Admin.” and there I am stuck. I login with the correct details and click “log in”, the boxes empty and nothing happens.

If I login with the wrong details, I get the “Incorrect password” message

Just letting you guys know that IE6/7/8 hate the permalink function when enabled. They return 404 errors.

What is the function or method to call a post author or topic author name, as a link to their profile?

Notice how the profile names in statements like “Started 6 days ago by arpowers” don’t have links to profiles. I would like this to link somewhere.

Can somebody tell me how I would check which page I’m on in BBPress with a conditional?

I can’t figure out how to do it for the ‘edit topic’ page and others.

I did however discover the ‘bb_is_search’, ‘bb_is_front’, etc.. conditional functions.

the forum is synchronized with wordpress.
