Hi,

I want to make the colour of posts from certain users (admins) stand out from the normal colours. What’s the best way to do this?

Cheers

who is in charge of bbpress.org pages?

Published on October 29th, 2010 by Abdessamad Idrissi

Hi there,

Sorry if posting in the wrong place.

I would like to know how to address issues found in bbpress.org website, not the bbpress software, but, the actual site pages:

I have a problem with the add plugin page; I can’t see the form to submit new plugins.

I already have posted in the plugin page, but since there’s no answer yet, I wanted to know ho is in charge of maintaining the website because I think there’s a restriction/privileges problem that makes some people see the form and others not:

my oiginal post is in; https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/how-to-submit-a-plugin-o-bbpress

sorry for the duplicates, but I think it is an urgent fix.

thanx

Easiest way to create your own favicon

Published on October 29th, 2010 by BrandonDavis

Want to create your own favicon, have not enough time. It’s easy more than you can trust! Just upload your image and get your desired favicon. Favigen allows designers, site owners and web masters to easily create favicons and add them to their sites online.

Is not it the time to get your own favicon?

Not seeing blocklist settings

Hi,

I’ve installed and activated blocklist but don’t see any reference to it or settings options on the Manage page. Could you help me figure out what to do?

Thank you.

forum selector not appearing on the create new topic form

Published on October 28th, 2010 by spenderr

Sorry moved from previously badly named topic!!

i’m unable to post a new topic on my forum. it just gives “this topic has been closed”.

i have integrated BBPress with WordPress and installed the platform pro theme which all looks fine and i login to wordpress and don’t have to login again when i go into the forum.

if i go back to the default theme there is no problem with posting a new topic.

this is the thread in the pagelines forum where we have been discussing this issue.

bbpress THIS forum theme

Published on October 28th, 2010 by Wokasa

Hi,

I’m new to bbpress and got it up and running without much problem :)

Now I really like the look of THIS forum and it was partly why I chose to go with bbpress. Was wondering if there is a theme that you can download that is styled just like this one?

Many thanks

Wokasa

Custom Theme Profile Edit Broken

Published on October 28th, 2010 by kriskorn

I have installed bbPress and everything works fine.

Now I downloaded a custom theme – http://www.awesomestyles.com/bbpress-themes/view/businesslike

I made some changes and put it into Estonian language.

The problem now is, when I want to change the User Profile Info, then nothing happens.

When I change the theme back to Kakumei, then everything works fine.

I hope You guys can help me out, because I’ve had some trouble making it look like I want to.

Sorry for my bad English and I hope You can help me out fast. (:

Thank You!

Kris

Customizing Posts

Published on October 28th, 2010 by Edhead

Well I’ve been trying to customize a theme and I ran into a little snag…

I’m currently trying to customize the posts, but the only problem is they are auto generated and each post has a unique id…

How could I go about applying css to the posts?

The site I’m working on is here:
