Hi at all I have a question, there is a way to display login field an forum/thread list outside the website?

For example in a second website or mobile application?

I have installed the bbpress plugin into my WordPress site (my site uses a child theme of twenty-ten). I created a couple of forums leaving the defaults for showing “forums” as my base forums slug. Navigating to http://mysite/forums was showing my list of forums as I expected. I made some changes but then reverted them and now the base page is empty. I can still get to my individual forums, but I can’t seem to get the listing to show back up on my base forums page.

Things that I changed

* temporarily disabled base slug but then re-enabled it

* temporarily switched to the twenty-eleven theme but then switched back to my twenty-ten theme

I’ve got a couple of posts that received a few edits and the displayed log in the posts looks pretty bad. I’ve looked through the database, but can’t find where the edit log is kept (I intend just to delete the extras that don’t have any value)

Also, the checkbox for “Keep a log of this edit” is marked by default. Is there a way to have it unchecked by default? The default setting is part of the problem why my edit logs look so bad.

I’m trying to insert a button on the forum that allows a user to private message another user.

The idea is when a user is reading a Topic, they can click a button to directly message the person who created a particular topic or reply. I’m thinking it would fit somewhere under the avatar.

I have a plugin called cartpauj PM which can accept the user ID via a GET variable in the URL.

The trouble is I can’t seem to find my way through the many layers of template files and functions to do what I want.

The bbp_get_reply_author_link function seems to be closest to doing what I need but I don’t want to edit that directly and screw up any potential updates in the future.

Any tips?

I have a WordPress Blog and want to link to a bbPress forum site through a button in the main menu of the blog template (Forex Titan). I can’t figure out how to do this. I change the html code but it changes back to the original WordPress permalink. Is there a plugin to change the link URL’s in the permalinks?

Not sure what happened but it was working fine before all of a sudden I started getting this error. Any ideas?

I have integrated bbpress in to my existing wordpress and everything is working great except it’s impossible to read the comments stuff. The background is white and the writing is yellow and sometimes white which you cant read at all.

How do I change these colors

I just installed the Members plugin, and am attempting to put it in a widget. To do so, I have to specify a Register URI and a Lost Password URI. Understanding that I am so green that I had to look up “URI” in a glossary… would someone be able to explain to me how to find/create/etc the URI needed? Thanks!

I recently installed bbPress and within hours it was spammed. Is there any way to delete unwanted messages? I ended up deactivating bbPress until I can figure out a solution. Any help on deleting unwanted posts on bbPress?
