bbPress Login Widget is used to provide login box which displays user profile image as well as name of user with the link to its profile page:
http://domain.dom/forums/users/forumuser/
I am having problem in accessing the above user profile page. The error displayed on the page is:
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
However, if admin logins and goes to the url “http://domain.dom/forums/users/admin/” then bbPress’s profile page for admin is displayed correctly.
What could be the problem? Can someone here help me to rectify it so that proper user profile of all respective users are displayed correctly?
Thanks.
Hello,
how can I do when I write a message in the forum (bbPress) appearing in the wordpress homepage?
Thanks.
On every bbPress page, I’d like to list the recent replies under the forum content, much like this site:
How can this be done?
I’ve noticed that the main forum url (https://bbpress.org/forums/) shows Latest Topics….
On my site it shows the list of forums.
Is that easy to change?
I haven’t been able to find any settings for this 🙂
Hello,
I am trying to get bbpress and theme my login to play nicely together…
Everything almost works just perfectly… only one problem exists…
The redirection after login does not work as expected.
Everyone is always redirected to the homepage after logging in with the TML widget.
On logout everyone is redirected to the login page.
I’ve found this page, which describes the same problem on the TML support page: http://www.jfarthing.com/support/topic/redirection-feature-doesnt-work-with-other-plug-in-bbpress/
If I disable TML and use the bbpress login widget it works fine…
Has anyone gotten this to work?
Thanks!
Currently when signing in with the bbPress widget it redirects you to the home page. Is there a way to keep it on the page that your logging in on?
Also when upgrading to the current bbPress my Forum List now is off (seems to be a CSS thing with the colors of the theme not translating to the the forum list). Any ideas how to fix that?
Thank you for any suggestions.
Hello,
I’m have a little bit of an issue with both TinyMCE & the Password Strength Indicator in user profile editor. Both of which seem to be invisible – space for them in the CSS has been provided but nothing displays. Are they supposed to be installed separately?
I’m running the latest version of WordPress & bbPress
I am trying to set up my forum so it is just “Forum” with no categories. But the best I can do so far is Forum and a single category. Is there a way to do this?
And perhaps I might be able to find the answer to this question, and many others I am sure I will soon have, if I knew the answer to this next question — how do I search these topics? Geesh, I feel so embarrassed!
I’m not sure if this is normal or a bug, but it’s really irritating. When someone creates a new topic, it isn’t shown in the widget, and that way it usually remains unseen and without any replies. Any fix around this?
I need 5 topics to appear on one page and 15 for all the other pages. How can I go about doing this.
