Is there a way to enable a BuddyPress group to have multiple forums? Right now it is a one-to-one connection, but I need multiple forums. FYI:
– I saw the subgroups plugin, but that wouldn’t work for me.
– I also read the subforum discussion, where the ;last word from about 5 months ago was “Multiple forums per BuddyPress Group is started in bbPress, but likely won’t be finished for several months.”
– I also read the subforum discussion here, but that’s not ideal either.
– I also the “Multiple main forums on one site” topic here and I suspect the answer might eb the same that was given there, but wanted to make sure.
What do I need to change in the style.css to add a border to the avatar picture in posts ?
Thanks 🙂
Hey,
I read a lot of potential solutions to this problem, tried a lot of stuff, nothing works 🙁
I think the problem is that I am using a custom Elegant Theme (DeepFocus) and the solutions provided are for the standard themes ? not sure…
I just want to get rid of that sidebar and have my forum use all the space… 🙁 *sad*
Anyone ?
bbpress: 2.4
wp: 3.6
theme: tried with custom and twenty thirteen, same behaviour
Hi I was trying to use the new Core feature:
Enable threaded (nested) replies levels deep
However it breaks my topics pagination and shows the whole topic in a single page, is this by design or a bug? I have also tried (in a different setup) the bbpress threaded plugin which actually supports pagination + threaded replies, so I could choose that path, however, since bbpress is trying to integrate that feature I’d rather go that way.
Thanks in advance.
hello..
i like to offer my users an extra (costum) profilepage where they can see an overview of their own posts… like in the profile. is this with a shortcode possible ?
thanks
WordPress Multisite 3.6
BBPress 2.4
Error “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”
As a super admin, I can activate bbpress on each sub-blog and access it’s settings. If a blog admin tries to activate bbpress or access it’s setting they receive, “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”.
If I activate it for them I can see the menu’s on their dashboard for bbpress, but they cannot. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, deactivated all other plugins, etc. All the normal troubleshooting hasn’t worked. I checked the MySQL Database after uninstalling bbpress and none of the bb_ tables are there so I assume it completely removed.
I’ve been troubleshooting this for about 3 days now. Very irritating.
How to get ” target=»_blank» ” on the forum as standard?
I don’t want people to post links and be taken away from the site when they click em.
Want this to be standard that the links on bbPress forum will be a new window\tab!
How do I solve this issue?
Hey,
I have 2 problems with my bbpress:
1.
I want to remove the ropic/reply count next to each forum. How would I do this ?
These are the red crosses in the below image.
2.
I want to remove the freshness column on the main board (it can remain on the individual threads page)
This is the yellow cross in the below image.
If anyone can help with either of these problems! Thanks!

Hi, I just started with a new website so all lastest versions, WP, Buddypress, BBpress.
Buddypress theme Klein, created in August 2013.
Key factor is prioritizing, rating, like topics.
looking for a BBpress and Group forums plugin I cannot find a plugin. (installed -buddypress rate forum post- but I do not see a button in the posts.)
Do you have a suggestion? Have a nice day, Anne
I am using bbPress Version 2.4 and whenever I try to create a new forum I get a message saying ‘ “cheatin huh”. I’ve been bbPress for a year or so and this was happening with the previous version 2.3 of bbPress too. Does anyone have idea how I can fix this?
